An apology...
« on: December 20, 2000, 08:45:33 AM »
After reading everyones replies, I was to appologize for the way I came across. I didnt at all want to make it seem like the DC is a horrible system, not at all. I myself own a Dreamcast, and I love it....Especially when Shenmue came out. I got into an argument with some guy before joining who was completely bashing the PS2, and with nothing to really back it up. I guess when I came here, I let off some "steam", to all those DC owners and I apologize. I love the Dreamcast as much as the next person...heck, I was even in line on 9-9-99 to be the first to get one, just as I was on 10-26-00...My hat is off to the Dreamcast, and the new competition PS2...

God knows I\'ve been there.  People either claiming XBox will dominate like PSX, or PS2 is a disappointment, or DC will no longer be sold next year, or claiming that the N64 has nothing but kid games, or saying that XBox will flop like 3DO.  With guys like that around, it\'s hard to resist putting down their machine in a futile attempt to shut them up.  Yeah, I\'ve felt that urge.  At least you didn\'t insult the DC or it\'s games or pull that silly ass "it\'ll be gone next year" argument.

I wouldn\'t call it a silly argument.  It has happened before and to me.  I\'m not saying it will happen so don\'t flame me or get your hackles up, but it is a possibility.

Hi PS2Begining  and welcome to the boards.  It seems that every newbie goes through an intiation here.  And you definetly are going through one now.  Escp. because of your first thread.

I suggest keeping it cool for awhile.  But I hope you have a good time here and enjoy yourself.  Peace  :D

I hate all 4 companies sega, sony, nintendo and microsoft. They all do **** to piss me off.

first sega, there going under I can already tell from there release list not as many games as ps2. But ps2 dosn\'t have that many coming either.

Never buy from sega.com they suck ass. My **** has been on back order for weeks. they won\'t cancel it. the only way you can return it is when the item comes(IF IT EVER DOES)You send it back. So iam screwed no matter what. I got to wait..for a game and keybaord that wasn\'t on backorder when i ordered it.

Its still on backorder. i can\'t believe you can\'t cancel. they glady forget to mention this **** in the faq.

to there are ways to give the illusion of AA,without having to take cuts in performance, and some developers are are taking advantage of themhowever ,until SOny comes up with a specific and easy ways to implement true AA that dosent take major hits on performance, you probably wont be seeing a huge number of games take advantage of it.

Apology accepted :)

Altho\' you didn\'t offend me in any way, it\'s good that you have the courage to apologize. Even if this is a forum, there isn\'t a wrong place nor wrong time to apologize.

So it goes in real life too ( well, this IS real life, but I mean the life out of computer... well, err, you get the idea :) ).

Thanks.

Its ok man. Just make note that we all have a mutual respect here. It took us awhile to meet common ground, but we did. Its a real peaceful board actually.:)
