I just got an e-mail from a guy wanting to trade my Dreamcast for a Playstation 2! Being that I already have one, I am going to give it to my best friend...whom can\'t afford a PS2...Hey...It Christmas time, the time of giving right? Merry X-mas to all!

Thats cool, but that is no where near a fair deal...  Why would someone do something like that???

That is a VERY good question. I have visited DC forums, and they stand by thier DC 100%. I guess this is just one of those guys who is unhappy with PS2...But why!?

Be careful man.  People can easily sell the PS2\'s on eBay - or even their local paper - for a BIG profit.  He may be ripping you off.  I wouldn\'t send your Dreamcast out until the Playstation 2 is in your hands.  It\'s weird that he would take a loss like that.

Thats is very true, that is why I just e-mailed him to let him know that due to the "popualrity" of the system, and that is was a little odd for him to want to trade for a DC, that I wont send until I have the PS2.

Hey ktulu...seems to good to be true..BUT, he is apprently going to send it out today, and supply me with a tracking #. I guess we will see. Keep you posted.

Damn... I\'d test it too.  With DVD\'s and american games (maybe he tried to mod it for imports/backups).  Wow, I can\'t believe he\'s doing that.  Freakin\' Dreamcast\'s are everywhere.  Oh yeah, I\'ve heard rumors of people working for postal/parcel services stealing PS2s.  I hope it\'s insured.

What an idiot.  If his PS2 is truly legitimate, he could sell the PS2 and get 2 dreamcasts along with quite a few games.  I\'d be very suspicious.

Hopefully it will work out your friend will be happy i wish i had a friend like you.

something is not right here man....why would this guy want to trade ps2 to dc...even if he doesn\'t like ps2, as someone already mentioned, he can sell ps2 for 2dc.hey! ps2beginnig make sure that ps2 is not defected or something and keep me posted what happens.....

What he said was he wants both systems...the DC if for his sister, but he doesnt have the money so he is sacrificing his DC. I am VERY suspicious, but he gave me a legit. tracking #, so we will see..
