I am wondering about the framerate, control etc, is it any good? 60fps?

I think the game is pretty cool. I don\'t know what the framerate is, but the graphics seem fluid. Nothing that will really blow you away though, but it\'s ok.

Gameplay wise it\'s good and can be somewhat hard to beat. I recommend it for all that\'s worth. :)

Yeah, I would recommend it. It has nice graphics, smooth game play...its a worthy contendor among the rest. I am still a little pissed because I got far in the game, and then lost half my data...the only thing I will say as a negative...it gets pretty hard further into the game...

Rent it first.  I was interested in the game at first, but thought it sucked.  Graphics are blah..  Everything is at night so there is no detail in anything.  Even the pedestrians look stupid

Yeah, renting a game is always a good thing to do before deciding whether or not to buy it.

But I don\'t agree that graphics are \'blah\'. As I said before, it\'s not something that\'ll blow you away like GT3, but it\'s acceptable. You can even drive around as you wish - you don\'t have to keep on the roads. I liked that feature.

What really matters is the gameplay. And I liked the gameplay, controls etc. The game reminds me a bit of Driver for the PSX. Gotta love the handbrake! ;)

Well, rent it first. And then buy it afterwards. ;)

the day I got my PS2, MC was the first game I rented and believe it or not i returned it within half an hour to get SSX cause the gameplay was way too easy and un-realistic, but then again I\'m more into NFN and Gran Turismo racing games

I swear the graphics look like they would be on a PSX.  They are horrible.  It\'s smoother than what PSX can do, but it\'s all at night so it is really dull.

I just wan\'t to know which is better Ridge V or Midnight Club Racing because I was really dissapointed by RR.V by both the Graphics and the gameplay.

I think Midnight Club is better. And more fun. :)

But RRV is more like a \'real\' racer whereas Midnight Club is more ... \'action-like\' - it reminds me of Driver.

Ok i got midnight club and heres my verdict.

Its a good game, solid graphics and very quick, i didn\'t notice any slow down at all, unlike the so called amazing SSX (UK Version). Although THERE shouldnt be slow down in games though.

So its fast quick paced and fun, the reason i haven\'t classed this game as amazing are for a few reasons.

Theres a few bugs in the game, luckerly nothing which will stop you actually from progressing but there are some little things, none really anonying, and its also repetitive, in career mode you have the same task through the whole game.

However like i originally said this task is fun and out of my games of TTT, SSX and MC i played MC easily the most.

Unfortunatly this game has been a little over looked and i wouldn\'t be lying in saying that it was up there with the other A-Class launch titles.

Finally that guy @ires who played it for 2 minutes, i wouldn\'t trust his opinion, it takes a few days, and a lot of progression to make a valid opinion about the game.

I completly agree with you here. At first I thought the game was pretty boring. Turns out that as lazy as I am, I didn\'t read the manual, and just started the game in \'cruise\' mode. Lol, no action there dude.

But when you start playing the game - and progressing - it get\'s fun. I have played it the most out of my seven games. Including TTT, RRV and DOA2.
