I won\'t change the topic. But, I will point out a few things.

Don\'t post stuff in one forum and then here. Don\'t go making a thread to just personally attack another member. And try to control yourself in a resonable manner. This is a community, which means there should be a mutual respect among members, even if they disagree. There is a zillion threads (so to speak) on PS2 vs DC. This is just another one of those, except with the added touch of you attacking another forum member for no reason.

This forum does not need you posting threads like this.  Debating and fighting are two different things.

PS2 is the greatest console to ever hit the market its a proven fact. Theyve dominated dreamcast in every test that was taken between the 2 consoles .FACT! and sega people will even admit it if you ask them, thats why they hope you dont. These are facts from internet sources within, FACT!

well i guess i have to explain it to living-in-clit in elementery terms cause he didnt understand. Dreamcast sux, not even in same league as PS2, X-box, or Gamecube. The makers of these game consoles tested them all and it was published that PS2 first place, X-Box close 2nd and then Gamecube distant 3rd and finally last place dreamcast. So all you fools who bought dreamcast , well you got screwed.and thats the FACTS!

ok how did they test a systems that aren\'t even completely done or on the market - and while the ps2 is a great system i highly doubt that sony is gonna pull off this console war with ease if at all. becaue they will be in the same position as dreamcast when the x box and gamecube comes out.

Sorry,they don\'t.Have you seen Shenmue?Its graphics are on par with every PS2 game yet(excluding fighting games).There is abosolutely no huge difference between DC graphics and PS2.The developers haven\'t even tapped into the full power of the Vector units yet,once they do,NGC and X_box will blow PS2 in graphics.:DBut right now between DC and PS2, there is no huge difference.

jaggies- didnt c none on da ps2, but if there r any, DC gots 2 hav em too.

Yes DC has WAY more high quality titles than PS2 right now. In a year,that probably won\'t change. DC will still be pumping out great games along with PS2,deny it if you want but it is a fact.

But who cares about next year?Now is now and DC has the better selection of games you fool.

Accessories- its tru DC is comin out with mor accessories (its about time). they r a little behind. ps2 already gots DVD remotes which can also b used 2 play a game.

I think Ktulu made a very good point. The fact that the PS2 is doing well in America is nothing special, Somy has every advantage handed to them on a silver plate, any idiot could sell their consoles. Sony has made some serisous mistakes, but their console is still selling out, right now there is no limit to how bad Sony can be, people will still rush out and buy their console. Sega on the other hand is fighting and uphill battle. There console is in risk of madd exodus from developers in favor of more next generation machines, the media atention and mindshare of the people is all on the PS2 and the threat of two more big competitors looms on the horizon, but they still are doing fairly well. For the PS2 though the honymoon is going to be over soon. If Sony doesn\'t get their act together and ship more units and make sure the next wave of titles contains some real AAA titles that deliver at least part of that great revolution they have been promisng, which admitedly some titles like MGS2 seem to be doing at this point, then they are going to be in serious trouble. By next year the newest thing mindphase is going to be over, the supply of people who are willing to pay $300 + for the same games with better graphics will be dry, consumers will have to be faught over with MS and Nintendo who will have the advantage of being newer and having better graphics. I\'m not saying Sony is doomed, I\'m saying they have it easy right now, it won\'t be so easy next Christmas.
