Yeah, that sounds like a good idea. But I do think the amount of spamming has gone down a lot in the last month or so. Perhaps it\'ll be back soon.

I agree. Maybe because I have been here a long time and I have no pic. Anyway this is a good idea because the spamming is still around and everytime a new member hears about the 500 post rule they start spamming. It is a good idea but there would be a lot of angry spamming newbies.

I like that idea since I have been here longer than all of you.

Good idea. I haven\'t been here long, but I could care less about my picture. It would help the spam.

Now all we need is admin approval and it shall be done. I want a picture but I don\'t want to spam so I hope they like this idea. I think I deserve one don\'t you guys agree? huh? guys?

Rather good idea; and the rank should go up ( new ranks please! ) by the TIME you have been here. The amount of posts doesn\'t matter. The text that you write does.

But usually continous spamming gets noticed by MM and there\'s only two choices then: Either stop spamming or get banned. Simple enough?

Its a good idea..     BUT. People could reg, Post once. Then never come back too 6 months later. WELLA they get a pic. Just because they haven\'t posted much, AT ALL.  Doesn\'t mean there not a long time member, If they come back then they are.

So it should be like this.. I will chat too bjorn.

People DO need over 500 posts. BUT, They also need too be members for atleast 4 months.

That sounds like a pretty good idea Nathan. Most of the people start spamming, and realize just how much spam it would take to get to 500, and they give up. Of course, there are those few dedicated ones that never give up. I like the idea though.

How about 400 posts and 4 months. 100 posts a month. This sounds good to me.

Actually you should have a posting rate meter, which tells you if your nearing the spam part of your meter!

Actually I mentioned time should be a factor in getting a pic many months ago when the likes of unknown got a pic in less than a month.  It\'s too bad the software wasn\'t good enough to weed out the posts that say nothing.  Or the ones where the thread says,

Need help in ATV fury. Then the dude asks the question in the thread.  That\'s fine, but there is always someone who chimes in and says, "I wish I could help, but I haven\'t played ATV yet."  Well, why the F are you replying then you spood...  Heh....

I don\'t think I would change anything right now though.  It seems the board is running better than ever.
