Hello peeps is it my imagination or does the ps2 make allot of noise (apart from fan and cd reading) or is my ps2 a faulty one?

mines the same way. Is your PS2 in the verticle position? mine makes more noise that way. No nothing is wrong with it. Get used to it.

Same for me i have it horziontal cos it fits me shelf, big sound isn\'t that annoying really since i got DOLBY surround!
