After reading this topic §ôµÏG®ïñD, you makes it sound like if we don\'t buy MS or Sony we are going to be wasting our money because the other ones won\'t be around much longer. And those 3rd party developers won\'t even support the other machines. That they will only go for PS2 or the xbox because they are a "sure thing".

  It\'s called a port, and you should get used to that word because during this "Console War" that word will be used a lot.  

Yea i\'m used too the word PORT. Most ports are FROM arcade games.. Most ports are from PC too Console or Vise Visa.

Also, if Nintendo had around the same amount of 18+ users as Sony and MS, then that would mean that Sony\'s console and MS\'s console would no longer be the "mature" consoles.  Thus, no longer giving them an edge over Nintendo as far as demographics.

Thus Hasn\'t happened YET. They MAY have mature games. But Sony and MS already do. Nintendo couldn\'t get the edge over them even if they TRYED. Too compete with MS and/or sony they would need ALOT more money. Too be sure of that they would and DO go for consoles that are SURE too have a HIGH userbase.

lol man i\'ve played pokemon before. Just too tell u if your didn\'t know. I had a N64. I\'m not into pokemon. I don\'t LIKE pokemon. I\'m not saying N64 doesn\'t have mature games. I\'m saying it has LESS mature games then KIDDY games.

  You misunderstood me when I said "the ones who don\'t know what they are doing".  Of course they know what they are doing, but they are horrible at what they do.  It\'s like Luc Longley in the NBA.  He knows what he\'s doing, but he just sucks horribly.  That is what I meant when I said that.  So, Nintendo would get rid of people who have little talent, but keep the ones who were talented.

Why don\'t they just do that now.. Why waste time keeping crappy developer people on.. Why not fire them and get BETTER people?.

I bet i\'ve talked with more dood.. The reason i said it was.. Because LOOK AT THE developer support. There are MORE developers on XBOX and PS2 FACT. They see the CONSOLES will or do have the MOST userbase. They see the MOST money coming from the consoles. Like it or not. Thats why they develope for systems.. FOR MONEY

I will take you up on that bet.    I know that right now PS2 and Xbox have a lot of 3rd party support.  But the fact is that Nintendo has yet to announce their 3rd party support.  I am positive it\'s not as big as the other two, but they are working a little harder this time around to keep developers on their side.  Plus they have a lot of worthy 2nd party developers.  Which doesn\'t make up for 150 developers, but it makes up in quality.  I know it\'s about the money, almost everything in this world is about money.

I didn\'t say you said that.  I said you make it sound like.  In other words, you don\'t say it; it\'s how I took it.  Every Non Bias site just follows the media and right now the media is focused around the PS2.  They support what is the most popular and what will bring in the most readers and for right now that is the PS2.  And the PS2 is using its hype from the original PS and carrying it over to this machine.  Finally the PS has a huge Fan base, that is why a lot of people think its going to win.  And even though the developers check out websites, they are still in it for the money.  And if developers can port their games to all of the machines, there is a better chance of them making more money.  I know if they developed for all machines that would definitely broaden their (developers) user base. More user base = More money.  Show Me the Money![/I]

It\'s just way too early to predict the out come of this generation war.  I mean who would have thought that Sony would have conquered Nintendo in the gaming industry five years ago?

Your posts don\'t make sense.
They are NOT developing another console. They released a press statement on the Sega of Japan website clearing up this confusion. The statement was they was not being bought out by Nintendo.

IGN also had an interview with Peter Moore were he cleared up the issue of developing for another console.
Its NO, currently.
