Is this a relevant question?

But mm,

the cost of the PS2 is well enough for me to buy a DC with a PSX or N64.

I rather go with the DC, but out of the N64 or PSX, which one would be worth buying along?

:)

If theres any games exclusive to either platform you want, yes. If there isn\'t, no. How hard is that? N64 dead? Only if you don\'t like the games. I happen to like my N64, and if there\'s any games someone likes for a paticular system, its not dead, regardless of if theres any new games. And PSone is too cool not to get, along with the LCD screen. Buy a PS2 for PS2 games. Not for PSone games.

why get a PSOne when you can play 2 on 1 system [PS2 and PS1 on a PS2 system] its just more money sitting collecting dust..you buy a PSOne and its just sitting there when you can just use a PS2 and improve the graphics and have faster loading..o WOW you have portability..i can bring my PS2 as well..just not play in the car..but how often you go on LONG trips ?

Why not get a PSone? What if you can\'t find a PS2? What if your on a budget? What if you think the tiny little bugger is the ****? PSone is dope as hell! With or without the screen.

Yes, buy both if you can.  If you can\'t afford a PS2, get a used psx for $65- at Funcoland.  You can play great games like:

MGS, Tekken series, SF series, FF 7, Siphon Filter...

The same goes for a used N64, it has many great titles as well:

Mario64, Zelda TOoT, B-K, DK64, StarFox, 007, Perfect Dark...

To play and beat all those games though, I am assuming you either have a lot of time on your hands or are a collector. :)

PSone with LCD screen, probably $149.99, I see it as the first portable console, playable in a car.

hmm the PSOne didn\'t come with the lcd moniter it was the JUST the console plus a dual shock controller.  and Sony said the LCD moniter would attach to it and it would be released in Spring 2001 or something.  also Psone by itself is only $99.00 give or take a little more here.

I think these consoles will dead in the next year. PSone is bad for PS2, Sony must kill it :)
