OR

GT3 - known for it\'s good reputation but lacks car damage and track damage, also, looped tracks (i prefer non-loop or open road

Both should be good.

I haven\'t seen a release date posted yet for the Getaway and GT3 is coming out in Feb or March here in the US.  I would say get both.  I plan on doing the same.

Depends on the what type of game you want more. Do you want a Grand Theft Auto/Driver type game where you smuggle guns and jack cars, or do you want an extreemly accurate driving simulator?

Personally I\'d go for Getaway since it has different missions, different paths to a desination, some form of storyline, car damage, and lots of criminal activity. :)

I\'d go with Getaway as well since it seems to have more detail.

You must buy GT3 in the next months and later 2001 buy The Getaway. Both are great games but there are some months difference between this titles. If you like cars buy GT3 sure, and if you like cars+action buy Getaway, both rocks!!

Both!

Definetely. GT3 is for simulation needs and the micro-management of upgrading your car and buying new ones.

The Getaway for instance is for Cop-n-Robbers kind of action and, yes, it looks and sounds like Driver; and what could be better news?

Personally I\'m waiting Getaway more than GT3 even \'tho Getaway isn\'t so hyped. It will be. Believe me.

i just bought my ps2 a month ago with multitap2, 2 8 meg mem cards, two dual shock2 and 2 games, plus i just got my top-of the line philips 29" 100hz tv with 10 piece sorround, it may seem stupid but since i am still a student, one game makes a difference. Please note ONE game
