Anybody think around the time of CES Square will pledge Xbox support and bring FFX to the box?

They are supposed to make a big announcement sometime just after the new year. I personally think it will be full Xbox support.


Do these jackasses know that Square is a Japanese company, too much hype on the X-Box from these fans. Although it will be a sucessful console.

He just said full support (i.e. most all the games they are developing for the PS2 will also appear on the X-Box, with editional games). I doubt they would do this (at the most, FFXI on the X-Box, not full support), but anything is possible.

No where in the thread did they say exclusive (in other dumbass threads yes, not this one).

X-Box will be in the same position PS2 is in right now.  The X-Box will have to wait for online games just as PS2 is.

Well if you guys think Square won\'t support other consoles like Xbox your crazy. The very best games are turning out to be long expensive projrct and the only way to re-coup those expenses is to sell those games to as many people as possible, since porting a game is only a fraction of the cost of making the game it will increase the revenues



So to put it in a nutshell. Square will support Xbox so be ready for that announcement


Oh and lets not be reading other console forums and then running here to call them dumbasses, they are equally entitled to there own optimism and excitement just like we all we\'re waiting for the PS2. Also all it takes is a couple of MSXbox boys to come over here and read crap like this and the next thing we have a forum full of biased hateful spam that most of us can do with out.

I\'ve said it a zillion times. Square will support another console . With a 2 more consoles coming out, both of which will be successful no doubt. It doesn\'t make sense for Square not to support another one. Espically, when they can port the Windows version of the game to the Xbox without problems.

Ha even though i have talked to Pilates dogg personally he isnt a bad buy. Dont bash him for what he thinks. Xbox wont get Square fully Square will still stick true to Sony also.

Xbox will kill PS2
