where should i start..

waited on line for 14 hours..got there the 25th and waited till midnight struck..they [Virgin MegaStore in Times Square didnt receive any]..so me and my cousin waited..9am came and still no PS2s...12 noon..STILL NO PS2\'s by 2pm they finally came and i got it in my hands..within that 14 hour ordeal the people waiting on line with me were flashed (.Y.) by a girl..had a bum talking to himself saying "stop mastu**ating"..

got 3 more PS2\'s via EB were i work..and thats about it

I got my PS2 off of a ebay auction for $500.  Yeah I guess I couldnt wait till they brought them out again in March.  I know I could have saved $200 but it was well worth it!

It was quite easy. On december 21 I went to the Virgin megastore in Paris...no ps2 ;-). I asked the guy who told
me I should come back early in the morning, they were
supposed to get some the next day, but a few ones...

December 22, a 9:00 am, I was in the virgin and felt
something was going on. Looking everywhere, but still no ps2....then I saw this guy with one under his arm, grabed
him "where did you got that", and I learned I had to queue
downstairs...

There I go and take my place in the queue, will there be one
left for me?

Yes, there was ! Great, I can\'t believe it !
I then took a memory card, SSX and Dynasty warriors,
and that was it. Got back to work, for one of the longest
days I ever knew...with the ps2 under my desk, having to
to test it !!

Anyway, I came back home early, plugged everything,
and you should guess what followed...

I PRE ORDERED 6 DAYS BEFORE LAUNCH IN AUSTRALIA
AND GOT IT ON LAUNCH DAY NO PROBS

I know you guys are gonna call me one crazy ass mofo for this but I waited till 2 weeks after launch, looked in the classifieds and paid $800 for just the system, and then I bought 4 games 2 weeks ago after renting a whole bunch, and well that\'s what I get for not pre-ordering

I pre-ordered mine PLus TTT,Timesplitters and a Memory card at Software ETC. I pre-ordered my PS2 in april, TTT and the rest in May or june.  The day before launch I call to see if I got mine....thy said I wouldnt but I would on the second group.......I went anyways there were about 5 people waiting that pre-ordered, to get the Memory card and the games.......they asked for my name..I gave it to them and I was the Last person on the First run list so I got the PS2 and my games......They had no memery cards.....they tried to shaft me on my memory card 6 weeks later wheni went for it.....they said they "lost" my envelope with my pre-orders in it..........I got it tho :) after I got my PS2 and games on to Hunt for a Memory card and Monstercables........Best buy.found my RGB cables.out of MC......Circuit city......Crap....never going there again...went to 2 targets and Toys R us.......FInally got one a week or so after....along with my  S-video Monster cables for the tv in the living room....and total time on launch day 4 hours!

Nothing too exciting here. Reserved mine Feb. 2000, waited in line at the mall (indoors, luckily) from about 8:30pm, and walked out with it at 12:45. Went home and played it for several hours and been playing ever since.

I made serious cash performing sexual favors over at the senior citizen homes near my house. Those older ladies sure know how to sock it away for a rainy day,

with all that cash I had no trouble paying top dollar on Ebay.
