That software chart is really good news to all of you Sony fans. I been following japanese/american sales charts for some time now and i think that\'s the 1st time i have ever seen so many Ps2 games in the top 5! BTW It\'s great to see Naka\'s PSO selling well. :)

yea that is great news - but that chart just shows that Gameboy will win the next console war j/k - it is everywhere and especially in japan

Yea that also gave me hope that they might actually bring the gundam game to the us

Yes that would be very unexpected and amazing.  I still wonder how high the demand is for the ps2.  Its kinda hard to tell at this point.  And trying to find out online is pointless..you get some people saying its sooo easy to find one..while others say its nearly impossible.

Hey, it\'s great to see the ps2 doing so well, especially since I have one (Whoo-hoo!)  I just want f@#$ing NBA Live 2001 to come out!!  When is that happening anyway?  Anybody out there know?  Regardless...I\'d also like to put out there something for Crippler:  if you\'re going to post that quote from Halloween after every post, you should spell the words correctly--it\'s "rudimentary" and "purely".  Just a heads-up...

Good PS2. I knew your sales would go high up to clouds when the big and hyped games started to come out ( a la Da Bouncer )

And it\'s all up-hill now; the tip of this ice-berg is years away ( I think ) :)

Sega is doing great. With 2 million shipped in 2000, + the 1.8 sold through before 2000. DC has sold 3.8 million. Add in another 3.2 million in America (est.) ands another 1.2 million in Europe, their have been about 8.2 million DC\'s sold!!!

That is great news for the system with basically no hype behind it!

GO SEGA! :)

Perhaps he just wants the company behind his fav. console to do well, so it doesn\'t end up like Saturn or something like that. Just a guess, I don\'t know his exact thoughts. :)

No, really, I am very happy that the ps2 is doing well; that is to be expected.  However, I really mean for Crippler to see this:  I have only pointed out 2 of many flaws in your signature.  I realize that on the Net, spelling is not such a high priority, and I think that it\'s likely that you are probably 14, but the English language is important to me.  Therefore, I do not want to see it bastardized without remorse by idiots like you.  Thank you.

Guys, does any of you know whether the PS2 has environmental bump mapping or some sort? \'cos I saw a demo of DOA2 and noticed the floor is bumpy and the shadow of the fighters fallen on the floor are really like it is on a bumpy rock solid floor.
I\'ve heard tech people saying PS2 doesn\'t have bump mapping, well if it doesn\'t, could you explain this technique on DOA2 (hmm.. or even TTT, I think I\'ve noticed the floor too).
