You do know that most of the people here are gamers not just console gamers. If having a 1.4gig P4 m4kz j00 ph33[ 1337 then more power to j00. While you are downloading the newest patch to the newest game I will be playing finished games that are able to use the full potential of my consoles hardware. What is the point of having a P4 when developers make games for 600mhz(at best) PCs? I would rather have a nice ass Toyota Solara that I can whip down the street as fast as I want, than a Lamborghini that can\'t go over 40mph.

BTW, The fact that you are even here shows your jealousy and the content of your post shows your immaturity. So when you turn 12 remember to hit me back up and I will buy you a DC/PS2.

And uhm. Yeah PC games are fine and all. But, this is a PS2 board. The PS2 is a console. A console is not a PC. How simple could it be?


Oh yeah. I forgot. We also don\'t have till with patching our games, because they crash at a certain level. Or updating our drivers for some "unknown" reason.

Why is this hard to understand? A game on a 400mhz console more than compares to a game on a 900mhz PC. Why you ask? The processor on the console is optimized for gaming and the processor on a PC is not. Plain and simple. There is no need to further push the argument. Some gaming kickz on the PC and some gaming kickz on the console and you can\'t consider yourself a true gamer if you do not respect either side of the fence.

May I also add that the present state of the Console, only allows for a Consle Game to have a capped level of lastability and longevity. Albiet having an infinately expandable counterpart called the PC Game. In other words a single Console Game can never have more content than it was originally designed with, while PC games can be expanded with mods.

I have every desire to take this arguement further, unfortunatley, given the attitude of the topic starter and the current political situation, I have decided to close this thread.
