Thats in Japan. When is coming to the US? If it is coming out in the US this month I would have to end my PS2 boycott in favor of Final Fantasy Goodness.

BTW, Its not really a boycott its more of a lack of funds and an inability to find one when I do have money.

Oh my god!!!

According to The Nihon Keizai Shimbun, domestic shipments of the PlayStation 2 have topped 4 million units, with "cumulative global sales expected to hit 11 million by the end of March".
Other interesting bits of information from the article include information that Final Fantasy X would be available in January, and that Namco, Konami and Koei should have a number of games available for the machine during 2001.

Is Squall gonna be in it?? Cuz on the cover of the coming soon thing at EB world it had a picture of someone that looked EXACTLY like Squall on the boxart

Final Fantasy X is supposed to be released in March. As ign so colorfully puts it "acts of god and delays do to tend to happen". But with the amount of time they have put into this game I find it hard to believe it would be delayed for technical issues. I would understand it being delayed so its not released at the exsact same time as  The Bouncer. Or on a more hoefull side released early not to compeet with its own software:).

And the same character disigner(who did FF8) is doing both Final Fantasy X and The Bouncer, thats why they look so similer. From a tidbit of another article FFX is supposed to be a mold of 7 and 9,I meen this only in the style of the game. It will have a Fantasy aspect with some Sci-fi roots. I am looking forward to only having 3 battle members and more detailed characters.
