A Sequel to FINALY FANTASY 7 ?!?!??!

LOL, yah I figure this would get alot of you guys attention. BUt Sorry there is no Sequel to FF7 or anything like that....at least not now....but perhaps in the future of Squaresoft....At least thats what I would like to see.

I was sitting at home one cloudy, air polluted day, when suddenly I was hit with the idea stick.....actually I bent over to pick up my remote control and smacked my head against the table......but in my confused and painful state, an inspiration came to me like a cloud being parted by the bright lights of the sun.......(ok SHUT UP , Im trying to be poetic here you jerks) Aneways, I thought it would be pretty damn cool to have a sequel to FInal Fantasy 7. To have a FF game that starts off in the timeline after meteor gets destroyed. How cool would that be? to be able to use Cloud again and to see the BUSTY Tifa rendered using the ps2 engine...think about it.....A more realistic busty TIFA...DROOOOOOOOOLL.. Aneways, how cool would that be to have a sequel to Final Fantasy 7......or ane other Final Fantasy game in the past.

What are your thoughts on a sequel to a past final fantasy game? Which past FF would you want to play a sequel to? What kind of villans would be in there or what would the story be like? WORK THOSE BRAIN MUSCLES FELLOW GAMERS!! LETS TELL SQUARE TO GIVE US WHAT WE WANT!! A SEQUEL TO FINALY FANTASY 7..........or ane other FF series ....BUT YAH A SEQUEL TO FINAL FANTASY 7!!!!


Possible  Main VIllan for a sequel to Final Fantasy 7:
Aeriths evil son....somehow sephiroths particles got into aerith and she becamse pregnant with his evil ass. Hmmmm wat would his name be like then...Aeiriroth? Seprith? SephiBroth? CHicken soup? lol this idea of a super villan comes from fellow friend and post-er Ryu.

hmmm... I always thought FF series are good because the world is different every time you play the game.

So I say that it would not be so cool to have FFVII\'s sequel. Why can\'t they make another as good looking woman character as Tifa to FFX?

The thing is that you just want to see those good old characters re-rendered, right?

By this way Square can produce endlessly Final Fantasies. They\'re always "Final" because it isn\'t a continous "serie" like... like... like... hmmm...

Oh to heck with this idea already. Some time back, someone already brought this up. It would just suck. Final Fantasy... why is this the name of the games? They tell the final great story of one world in a neatly presented game. Having a sequel would break the tradition, and there are some things that are best left as they are (FFVII here, still the best game I\'ve ever played). I\'ve thought about this many times, and my answer is that a sequel would be a major bad idea. FFVII was perfect, it doesn\'t need any continuation. Period.

hmmm i c your point. Yes final fantasy 7 was the best ff in my opinion too. And yes i dont think they need to mess with it in any way. But I still think it would be nice to be able to use the same characters. THey can continue it by using the same characters but in a different story. I dont think it would be too bad to have a sequel to a previous FF. hmmmmm this was posted before? well ive only recently started posting so I dont know whats been posted before.
And NO i dont just want to see Tifa rendered using the PS2 engine.......although that would be nice..........but it wouldnt be the only reason why i would want a sequel.............or is it? dum dum dum!!!!..........lol =P

speaking of FF series, is it true that FFX for PS2 could coming out later this month in Japan?

well I think ff10 is either coming out the ned of this month, If not , itll be coming out four months later. One of the two is right, which one is, im not sure. But we wont get it in the US till end of this year...........IF WE ARE LUCKY, if not..........we\'ll have to wait till 2002......sigh i cant wait, and this time they are going to have voice-acting in the game. woohoo cant wait

This will never happen. There\'re some traditions in the Final Fantasy series and this is another one. Every Final Fantasy game is about a definitive story about life and death in a collapsing world.
Obviously definitive include the fact that we never will see a sequel of any of the FFs, and i really think that this is a great decision.

I agree and probaly alot of video game companies(since alot of video game villians look like sephiroth).Sephiroth has got a whole lot of history with the main characters.It makes him able to attack the guys mentally as also physicly.Dark Clouds rval looks exactly like sepheroth

I see. Yes i agree with alot of you guys. FF7 was the perfect FF game and im not trying to take that away. I know that each FF has a new set of characters and a new story , hence the FInal in Final Fantasy. WHat Im saying is , wouldnt it be nice tho? to play a new ff game using previous characters? You can even mix and match em\'. Put cloud and squall together or rinoa and tifa together in a new FF game. What do you guys think?
