GAMESHARK for PS2 on CD?!?!?!?

wow , I just heard that the gameshark for the PS2 wont be an attachment but rather it will be a CD!!! so you basically pop the CD in , boot up the codes, then pop the game in....WOW whether this is official or rumored, that would be cool. And since its on CD .....does that mean that the millions and millions of burner owning and software/game stealing people out there can burn their own gameshark cd??!!?? well lets hope so =D Aneways wat do you guys think? LETS GET SOME INFO ON THIS!!!

that would be cool but that would make it alot harder for people to boot up burnt games, wouldn\'t it?. well I guess we will have to wait and see

I think that would suck, cause you have to pop in cd after cd all the time, a cartridge on the back would be much more convenient, another disadvantage is the fact that a cd can\'t be updated, you could burn new cd\'s ofcourse but just putting it on the cartridge is just so much easier, I don\'t understand why you\'re so excited about this

hmmm those are very valid points for the Gameshark. As i said before im not sure if this is offical news or just rumors. But as to ur replies. No  I dont think this would a be problem for burnt games. Its a cd and it should read just like ane other game. But i dont have a modded PS2 so I cant really say.
As for the popping in cd thing, yes it mite get tiresome but hey ur saving 20-30 bucks if you can make or burn ur own. I mean think about it. The gameshark for the psx has be upgraded so many times. And when i say upgraded, i mean a newer version comes out. Some new psx games require a newer cersion gameshark for the codes to work. So if you had an old one, u would be out of luck. You would have to shell out 20-30 bucks for a new one. Now I rather pop the cd in and out then spend 20-30 bucks on a gameshark that will be upgraded every so often.

AH HAH!! the light has been shined down upon us. THanks shadow flare for the info. Yup , i only recently got a PS2 so I havent really searched for the peripherals for it. Aneways, wats the deal on it? can we copy it? make our own? etc?
