What are your thoughts on bleemcast?

Bleemcast is a chip that allows dreamcast owners to play playstation games on their dreamcast. I kinda think this is messed up.....

You think psx will ever come back with a chip that can play dreamcast games?

There will be no reason to own psone when you can buy a dreamcast and play psx games on it

Imo this is a dirty plan but it will also raise the psx game sales...

What the HELL are you talking about??? Bleemcast is a DISC, not a chip. \'PSX\' will never come out with a DC chip, maily because PSX is a game system, and not a company. Sony wont either, because DC uses a special cd format that only Sega (and a few pirate groups) can figure out. Unlike PSX games that are on a standard CD. Read up a little before starting posts like this.

Bleemcast is not a chip......it\'s software........in cd.......and there is no way that psx engine can run DC games...so the there is no way bleem gonna make one.......on the other hand if bleeem it would be possible from DC to PS2 dont u think....cause PS2 is so strong....

Its a cd. Not a chip. Its an emulator on a cd. And no there will never be an emulator on the "PSX" for DC games for obvious reasons. If you can\'t figure them out, I feel for you.

Dirty plan? What? You think Sega is supporting this? Sega just released a unit in Japan that won\'t play BleemCast! if it comes out on CD-ROM format instead of GD-ROM format (and it probally will). Sega has nothing to do with BleemCast!, it is made by a company called...BLEEM!.

  This will probably not happen on the dreamcast because checking out there site says it all for the last year!  If there is going to be bad updates on the pc version well buddies there is going to be bad updates on the dreamer package release and it looks right now it won\'t come out because the hype line at bleem.com looks very small!

These thing has been delayed over and over because Bleem wants to make their product perfect. The Bleem site doesn\'t update, you\'re right. But, they haven\'t updated their site even before they started making Bleem! for Dreamcast.

Ok whats better ps2 or dc?My opinion no offense Sega ps2 is better.Can dc play dvd?No.


   So why buy dc then bleemcast when you can buy PS2 wich plays playstation, ps2, music and dvds in one.

   And if you think im a sony fan boy I like sony and DC.

Well at the moment sega is better, but come march that will change, and after having the chance to play PSO...
