Graphics are making me interested in new genres!

With the new NG systems, I have decided to explore new genres besides RPG\'s (which I still play every one I can, nothing will change that) i\'ve found I really like FPS\'s like Timeplisters, and can\'t wait till march to try other games. Anybody else exploring new things this generation? if so what made you decide to?

I just got interested in racing games from Midnite Club (Sorry no RPGs for me I hate them, except for Zelda, if you can call that an RPG) Well anyway, part of what got me intersted was graphics but also things i\'ve heard form websirtes and stuff got me interested.

well about a year ago I never played RPG\'s untill about 9 months ago I played an RPG for the first time which was FF7, and since then I have litterally beeten every FF ever made I even went out and bought the ones for the original nintendo (1,2,3), then I got the special edition (5,6) for psx, and then got FF8 and 9, I just beat 9 and liked it alot, and I also have played Chrono Cross, and legend of gaia, oh yeah and when I say I "played"them I mean I beat them, RPG\'s are now my fav genre because of the in depth detailo to character and story which I find amazing, LONG LIVE FINAL FANTASY!!!!:)

I d/l the most recent movie and am now hooked. I\'ve never been interested in dance games, but after hearing that one song I\'ve decided to look into the genre.

I find I can have fun playing any game, and any genre, Some games and genre\'s getting repetitive and boring quicker

I love action adventure and RPG\'s for there mixture of gameplay and/or story line which kind of feeds my desire to play the game. The need to have to see whats next, what huge boss or plot twist to see what happens to our cpatured hero etc...

I\'m not a fighter fan but I got a copy of DOA2 and I bought a strat guide to help me get more out of the game sooner, but I\'m sucked into AC2 right now, so I haven\'t played in a week or so

Sports titles can get repetitive but they\'re still fun, and a game like SSX is stands above the standard sports game with its arcade style.

Turn Based Strategy games can be a blast like Front Mission, and soon to be released Ring of Red

Racers come in all flavors, some rule, some suck  but everyone likes a racer


But I try to hear what other people really like then sample those thats how I got turned on to MGS, Front Mission and GT

Soul Reaver, it may have looked good in the window you typed it in, but HTML does not support spaces beyond one... so unles you use periods or another method it will not work

nothing to do with this but I just saw the rock and Bill Gates interview fo x-box and Bill Gates said the system was running 1/5 the power I\'d say it and PS2 are about as good as eachother (that is if Gates is telling the truth.)
