...A way I could convince my dad into gettin Home Theater or Surround Sound or any other names it has? Anything I could tell him about it, any statistics or special phrases that mite catch his ear to look into it? Please I really want HT, I love it soo much and I need it...

Hopefully I can go sumwhere with my dad where they have systems set up and show them off to him hoping to intrest him.

Do you have a friend that have Home theatre?

If so, then take you dad to your friend\'s, and play a movie
like Matrix or something your dad likes...
