I finally called 1-888-770-7669 and asked for a damn explanation. thesaid that the demo disks are on back order, and Sony just received them from the factories. They are shipping them out in small groups to different areas of the country. Were I am (New england) They will ship within a week. he said if I don\'t see it within a week, to call again

ALL RIGHT!!!! Ive been waiting a long time for my damn demo disc; Lets just hope the games on it are worth the wait!

At flippin last, only three months late,
the games better be worth the wait.

PS any one know when a really good games coming out PS2, or a free online one for the PC.
ive been ignoring my PS2 laterly, in favour of online gaming, but hopefully, GT3 will come out soon.

tell us your impressions about the demo-disc animal-mother and do tell what the disc contains!

I\'m eager to hear...

I mean they have had to add some new stuff on the disc because time passes on and launch-PS2 games aren\'t exciting anymore...

I called them up a couple of hours ago.  They told me that I might have to wait a few weeks for it.  They told me all of the games on the disc.  Some of them are SSX, Madden, NHL and FIFA.  I can\'t remember the rest of them, but he hold me that all of the games were from around the launch.  He also said that there was a Final Fantasy movie on it.  Gran Turismo and Metal Gear Solid 2 are NOT on the disc.

are you talking about the one that is suppose to come with the ps2?

When you bought your PS2, there was a card that you could fill out and send to Sony for a free demo disc.  It said to allow 4-6 weeks for delivery.  So far nobody has gotten the demo disc.  It is finally coming out but it will only have older games on it.

pity if it\'s just filled with demos of the launch games; we all have seen \'em. Because the demo-disc is so late i\'d want to see something revolutionary.. like a video of Z.O.E. or the DVD-version of MGS2 trailer, or anything that sort of...

But I hope it will be packed with surprises, and it will be better than the pitiful European pal-demodisc with only few demos and videos to choose from.

Hmm? Maybe this is the same demo disc I saw at CompUSA. I was there yesterday pricing MACS and they had a Demo disc with those games, and Dyntasy Warriors 2 and Armor Core 2. I asked them when they got it, and they said they had got it recently.

Hmm
If so, then it totally sucks.
Any ideas?

I e-mailed them because I lost mine.......threw it in the trash actually.....Though all it would be is a PS Underground Demo disk (maybe 4.4 the PS2 version). I asked them If I could get one and All I would have to do is call them and give them some info and I get the disk.
I might have to go to my compUSA to check it out....since I will be getting a few hours off of work.........thnks boss.......no more OT.........

BTW anyone get their new PSU (4.4) yet?

Me and my friend will be glad when the demo gets here to louisiana...he is going into shock with no games to play..while i am playing madden waiting on march to come for the good games to come out...hopefully everyone will have there\'s soon..

actually, thats the demo disk i ordered, everyone says they got a card to send for a demo disk, well i sent a ps2 underground demo disk request, is thios the one everyone is talking about???? i am womndering this
