Move over ea there\'s a new sheriff in town
« on: February 02, 2001, 05:27:14 AM »
Well sega may have not had the best hardware out there this generation..or last for that matter, but not a single soul can deny their game making prowess. In my opinion sega is poised to be the best third party developer in the world.
Also ea if you are listening your strangle hold on top notch sports games just began to weaken. I think a next gen football title from sega may seriously dethrone the madden series as the premiere football franchise on the ps2.
Madden was definitely the superior of nfl2k1 but with the playing field leveled sega is poised to strike a death blow right to the heart of the ea empire. I\'d like to see it happen too ( i guess im still p!ssed that x-squad sucked so bad)
Don\'t get me wrong I love madden but a little compettition will hopefully lead to some great games by both parties. But sega has always made great sports titles and with the way ea snubbed the dreamcast it might be a little fuel for the sega\'s fire.
at the very least we will get non-midget players :-)
