Half-Life Gets A PS2 Facelift
«

The company has been working on the port since April of last year, when the first received Sony development tools, and have been working feverishly to get the most out of the complicated, but very powerful, PS2 hardware.
Half-Life fans
who pick up the
PS2 version
can expect
improved special effects, with more debris, smoke and fire, more detailed background environments, and character models with a higher polygon count and more detailed textures

Well, I for one ( as a serious HL -fan ) will buy the game for sure; just to see how much uplifting the game has had and what the extras are...
and of course cooperating with a friend trough half-life\'s story-mode always interests...

Gearbox Software has just sent IGN the first two screenshots of their PS2 version of Half-Life, and the results of their labor are looking quite impressive:)

They\'ve tampered with the monsters it seems. Added some fangs & stuff. Even freakier than before. Looking very good
