Ok, now I KNOW that this has most likely been asked here ummm ... 50 times already, BUT, I haven\'t been here for it.  So, I\'m hoping people here will be honest.  I\'m trying to convince my friend that N64 is better than PSX, sooo ... what do you guys think?  I say N64 is better than PSX.  PSX beats the absolute pants off of N64 price-wise, and definitely in the quantity of their games, but I\'d say the N64 games have better replay value, and are just flat out better ... in most occasions.  What do you think?

I\'d say N64 is better by just a little bit. I just like Nintendo\'s first and second party games so much(Goldeney, PD,Banjo,Mario,Zelda,ect).I only liked PSX for the RPGs. I admit it did have waaaayyy better figthing games and racing games,but those games don\'t interest me.

It\'s all about preference.If your friend likes fighting, racing,and especially RPGs,then PSX would be his dream machine.If your friend likes first person shooters,platformers,and multiplayer games,then N64 would be the better choice.

You\'d better ask him what kind of games he prefers. Then he can make his final judgement.

I d say PSX is better.Their are tons of PSX games with high replay value.
And I prefer a console with a ton of great games from which I ll choose and spent a lot of time instead of having to choose from similar quality titles in less quantity with high replay value.

Imagine having 10 quality PSX titles and 3 N64 higher replay quality  titles.Its more sure to spent more time on PSX(Especially if Tomb Raiders,GTs and FFs are included) with more gaming experiences because of the variety.

I\'d say PSone is better just because theres so many decent games for it, compared to N64\'s, what, like 6 or 7 good games?

Though he\'ll never have the fortune of playing GT, GT2, Ace Combat 2 and 3, Tobal No2(if the PSX is modded), PoyPoy, any fighting game(N64 has none), Colony Wars, Square RPGs such as FF7 and 9(didn\'t like 8), Xenogears, Vangrant Story, Parasite Eve 1 and 2......

N64 has....uh......Mario Tennis, Mario Kart 64, Zelda...

I own both systems and I gotta say, Swiffer is used to wipe the dust off the N64 quite a bit. The thing is a big paper weight now.

I thought the N64 sucked big time. In fact its the N64 that has completely turned me off of Nintendo.

Well when it comes to MultiPlayer it is N64 all the way

But to me when it comes to me sitting around playing games - it is all about PSX

Overall i am a person who hated the PSX before i got one - but i had to have my RPG\'s and that was where they were because Quest64 suckkkkeeeddd.

RPGs and sports games (including driving games)are my favs so for that reason I think the PSX is a lot better than the N64 - but a lot depends on what genres of games you like. Price is also a factor here in Canada with many N64 games priced higher than even the newest PS2 games!

I thought i was the only one that felt that way, but i will give nintendo a second chance and buy the Gamecube. Ive been a nintendo fan since i was about 9.

I dont agree, i think the ps2 is way better than the psx because you can play most psx games on the ps2. So consider the psx games, ps2 games with worser graphic\'s.
