i have been reading playstation magazine for about 6 months now and i have a 2 year subcription, psm is 100% independent wich means its written by people like us not some sponsored bias bastard, i believe the review seeing as how every other review he has written has been acurate, dont get me wrong i really wna play thus game, hey if the people look better than MGS2 then its worth a try

i´m really impressed with these scores... 4/10? 85/10?... but what´s this? I thought this was a nice and good game... is this a joke? is this true? ¿?¿?¿?¿ I´M DISSAPOINTED

I think 85/10 is quite a good score LOL

85 out of 100 is Really Good, almost Incredible, think it that way.

I love beat-em-ups as well, so I maybe buy Bouncer. I test it out first of course, and then judge the game. I shouldn\'t do it from first impressions.. but I still have this feeling inside me that Bouncer isn\'t a game to miss.

I\'ll withhold judgment until I hear more reports from actual gamers. I\'m still intrigued by the idea you have to play through as all three characters to get the whole story.

As far as I can tell critics in general save the thumbs up for their own favorite butts.

yeah, I think Bouncer is a good game but with those scores... in Spain a 85/100 is a bad game... a normal good game reachs 90/100 or 92/100. Great games like FF or GT get 97 or 98/100. In other countries the score is different. I wanna first impressions when anyone plays this game... perhaps USA and Europe versions are better, aren´t they?

Playstation2 magazine are the best for reviews. They arent biased and actually give reason to how they get to their scores unlike other magazines.

Stupid scoring systems... if the scores run from 0 to 100, an average game should score 50 points. It still might be a worthy game for fans of the genre for a good laff, but flawed in many places. 70 is already an above average game and 85 marks a very good game, if not quite perfect. Or... depends who\'s reviewing it and whether they\'ve used any logic in making their scoring tables... EDGE\'s got the best scoring system (others use the same kinda system too, but seem a bit less knowledgeable what is the score for a mediocre game)

The scoring system is another thing that\'s in a constant war. In the scale of 0-100 the average IS 50. It\'s on the blade; it isn\'t bad but it isn\'t so good either. 70 would be quite good, 80 good, 90 very good---

But here in finland many times they\'re explained or showed as...

70 - quite bad 80 - quite good but has many flaws 90 - good, usually recommended 95 - very good, buy it immediately! 95-100 very few games get into this era... once every year maybe...

You may LOVE the bouncer. Play it first. See what you think.  THEN judge it. Don\'t judge it on what some other guy thinks.

yeah here the scoring is 0-100 and the average score should be 50. But it doesn´t. Here, I repeat, a 80-85 game is a bad game, I don´t understand why...

I´m thinking... a 70 - 75/100 should be a normal/good game...

I´ll try later to send one letter to the main spanish gaming magazine...

Reviewers are just human beings. Perhaps what some doesn\'t like another person might love. With some games it isn\'t that likely, but it\'s not impossible. I\'d rent The Bouncer first before saying it sucks. Perhaps I\'ll really think it does, but perhaps I\'ll enjoy it instead.

yeah Samwise I agree, if the review hates the game, the game will get a low score. This is a problem ´cause can damage the commercial plans of the game company... I think.
