Scores are those who can\'t/don\'t bother on doing research about the games, so they can get at least some indication whether a game is good or not. For these people the scoring systems are unfair. Most people\'ve gotten used to  the stupid system where 7(or 70) = bad game. I never take the scores literally, since, yes, we all got different tastes. If I\'d taken heed of one FFVII review (which scored the game 1/10) I don\'t think I\'d gotten the game. I saw it as a game that looks interesting to me, and I went for it. I\'d score the game 11½/10.

Once again I must mention Famitsu for their groovy scoring system. All mags/webpages should use it

They got a four member crew rating all the games, each one giving a score between 1 and 10.  The final score is the combined opinion of 4 individuals, which is a way better indicator of goodiness than a single dolt reviewing a game.

I\'m not quite sure if 5 is a mediocre score over there, but the fact that more people review the games gives more indication on how the game suits different individuals. Silly that they must add the points \'cause it might cause some confusion, e.g. if a game has scored 8,3,8,3, the total will be 22, hiding the fact that two people thought it was a well above average game. I think their Silver, Gold & Platinum awards are somehow related to the total score so they must count\'em together... And a universal game that appeals to different people deserves to be awarded too

That\'s a good way too score. Not just off 1 person. But more like a poll type thing. So it\'s not bias or a one minded opinion.

well im just glad that i finally made a thread people are intersted in, good job unknown!, anyways i guess ou guys are right, one person doesnt speak for the entier world, but everyone has different opinions and i give them much respect for at least telling us what they think, but like i said im not going to buy it right off the bat, i will rent it like a week oir 2 after it comes out, seeing as how it will probably be out in every video store, and judge it for myself, or even better, come to the forum on the release date and see what everyone that got it has to say.

played the Demo of danasty warriors 2 , and despite some shocking use of fogging, the game is a damn scream to play.
Thats why i am getting that one when i finally get my PS2.

I\'m curious as to how many have canceled pre-orders, said the game was great, said the game sucked, and said the game deserves the money, has actually PLAYED the title.  The only person on this whole forum I have seen who has actually played it is The Bouncer and he said the game kicked ass in every way.  Also, you guys are judging a purchase of a game based on what other people think?  Come on, it helps to do research on hardware products, but when it comes to software, one man\'s toilet crust is another man\'s gold.

Bouncer is interesting package. Someones hate it, someones love it.

But for me, the shortness of the game bothers most. I was expecting it to be just little longer... but few hours?!?!?! Then all surprises are gone... Then you just gotta update your characters.

Why trust the ratings, Mega Man games never get good ratings yet they are my favorite games to play.  Who knows they could infact be biased... it\'s true!  Reviewers have a soul too...

Look ahead in the future i dont know about u\'s but playstation has only been in australia for a few months so theres not many good games released atm, but lets talk about something other then the bouncer how about TombRaider:Next Gen or Resident Evil4, now they are the games u should be waiting for. Im a huge fan or Resident Evil and TR series now no matter what they are like they will be awesome and so what about the bouncers gameplay because look at Resident Evils guys i can finish them all in under 3 hours but its excellant fun just like the Bouncer probably will be and that toss that wrote that article obviously doesnt like beat em up much!!!! oh well thats enough from the PlaystationExpert cyas all
