LETS ALL GIVE BLOCKBUSTER A CLUE!! Read--->

They are putting their stickers on PS2 games and making some of them vibrate violently (I\'m sure some of you know this) But anyway, this can\'t be good for our systems.

And even though I am disapointed with my PS2 and most of the games for it so far, I don\'t want it destroyed, and I don\'t want to see any of yours messed up either.

my block buster and hollywood video have changed thier stickers to platic cover looking things that are placed over the cover of the cd just so it says owned by blah blah blah, but they dont vibrate anymore, i told them, and before i would get the games, i have checked them, i guess thats why it took effect they got tired of me lol.

It\'s very weak when Sony blames its CD-ROM problems on a CD sticker.  If it\'s true then what does that say about the PS2\'s design?

Its just becasue the disk spins so damn fast.  Put a CD on any DVD and see if it does the same thing.

If they put a sticker on the CD-ROM it will make it heavier on one side.So when the DC starts spinning the weight is distributed unevenly.These ppl should know that.

Then why isn\'t my PS1 or my PC affected by this problem?

Sometimes the stickers are not put on right and there are bubbles under the sticker causing the cd to vibrate. I poked holes in the bubbles and it worked fine.

Blockbuster has to do something to show that it\'s their game... why do they have to put the sticker on the CD?

My store only puts on the disc shield (the clear plastic that covers the whole disc), we don\'t put on security stickers.  We just keep all the games behind the counter.

I agree with Gman, the blockbuster stick does make the ps2 make some unusual noises when playing a blockbuster game with the sticker on it.

One of my firend\'s friend bought a ps2, rented a blockbuster game, and after playing the block buster game and hearing the ps2 vibrate, he immediatley returned his ps2 thinking that the console was damaged or faulty. Since he got his ps2 near the launch date, he obviously was unable to replace it. Therefore he got his money back, and had to wait months before finally getting his hands on another ps2. Well imagine the look on his face when we told him that the reason his ps2 was "vibrating" and making whirring noises was because of the sticker on the blockbuster game and not because his ps2 was faulty. Well all i can say is after hearing that, a river of cuss words flowed from his mouth. It was quite entertaining......ANYWAYS STOP PUTTING THOSE DAMN STICKERS ON THE PS2 GAMES BLOCkBUSTER!!!!

if kids didnt steal games, they wouldnt have to put stickers on them.  the most guilty always throws the 1st stone

The stickers at our vid store. video ezy. Have there stickers around the centre of the cd... So it doesn\'t put the cd off balance.

The PS1\'s CD-ROM is lower speed(I think 2x) and the PC tower is heavier.

PS2\'s CD-ROM speed is 24x and not heavy so when the Disk spins fast it vibrates the console.The PC towers are heavier thats why they dont vibrate.

Well if anyone else cares to use the link above,
maybe we can get them to change their sticker policy.
