When referrng to a videogame\'s performance, is lag the same as slowdown?

I guess you could say that, lag is more of an Internet term though...

I dont think so. lag is when the reaction time is slow. and slowdown is when your getting a low fps because of heavy graphics etc..

yea i agree with BillyGun - it is more or less used for internet connection than for games.

Just use slowdown and avoid any confusion.
