I was wondering if anyone knows if there is a Driver 3 in the making for PS2?
i hope so cus Driver 1 kicks ass so 3 would be even better!!!!!!!

No I dont think so.Driver developers said they are not planning a Driver3 until the next generation of consoles(PS3,GC2).

I hated driver 1 and 2. if they are making a 3 then they really need to do something about the graphics.

i must admit that the graphics aren\'t the best i\'ve ever seen but i have driver 1 and the gameplay is excellent which is what really matters!!!
And if they have the same great gameplay i will buy driver 3 even if the graphics aren\'t as good as they could be they will still be better than 1 & 2
So i say it doesn\'t matter bout the graphics that much its the gameplay that counts and Driver certanly has GAMEPLAY

Driver was a great game IMO, and I really hope they\'ll consider making a PlayStation 2 version. Oh, how many countless hours of Driver fun... :D

it\'s ok people, if we don\'t get Driver 3 for out PS2\'s we can always fall back on Grand Theft Auto 3 in Full 3D.

sorry i don\'t have the pictures on me but they where in last months Official PS2 mag in the UK.

I believe they said that before Driver 2 came out, and were referring to not doing another 32-bit one. Driver 3 is almost guaranteed on one of this Gen\'s systems.

yea i remember hearing about it coming to the ps2 monthes ago - so i wouldn\'t doubt it if we end up seeing some pics later this year.

yea i loved driver and hated driver 2 - it was way to hard and had too much slowdown.

Oh well heres to looking foward to driver 3

yeah, the slowdown in driver 2 was pretty bad. and it was stupidly hard. but then again maybe i just suck.

I always thought what was the point of being able to get out of the car if you couldn\'t do it while the police chased you. Thats when you really need a new car.

IMO gta3 doesn\'t look all that good, and personnaly if you want a driver like game, you better wait for the getaway, that game is (probably) gonna kick more ass than gta3.

I competely agree with EThugg; I was going to say the very same words but EThugg literally stole them out of my mouth :)

I think you, jenre, now mix up THIS gen consoles to the very next-gen consoles. The announcement was made BEFORE Driver 2 came out, I remember it, and they announced that they won\'t do it for PS, but PS2 and other next-gen consoles.
