Ok,can I please get some feed back from the mods? This is a golden idea that you guys should think about for a while. I\'m telling you,the "Other consoles" forum is a great idea. I already have so many awesome threads planned,please take this into consideration.[/winninglittlekid]

I hate the idea

This is a PS2 fan forum for a PS2 based website

If I want GBA, GC, Xbox forums I goto those Forums

If we have another console forum it will be only a matter of time before we attract some PS2 haters who will insist on crossing forums to "Set us Straight" with there BS opinion about stuff they\'re clueless on.

Jumpman if there is one thing that is guarntee not to be possible if full harmony between console fans

I agree with Ddaryl.  We just need better mods to ***** at people.

In a perfect world your idea would work, but I just know that is would be one more forum that no one would visit.

I disagree completely. This site has a lot of unbiased people,hell,that\'s why I come here. This place has the most unique members that stand out then any other forum on the web.

Again,a good mod could handle the people who would just want to cause trouble with ease.

ddaryl,why don\'t we just try out the idea anyway? If it doesn\'t work out according to plans,then shut it down for good. If it becomes successfull,then keep it up and let the people discuss other console with joy. I don\'t see console debating doing anything much,this new forum could be a hit. Why don\'t you give it a chance?

ddaryl, I think you overlooked one thing.  Having the new forum would, lets say, "clean up" the main forum a lot... now since we\'ve heard from a mod, let\'s let this petition spill into the hands of an administrator...

yeah I must agree, it would cleen up the main forum alot, and if someone does post some thing about anothert system in the main forum them sim ply delete it and tell the guy it belongs in the other part of the forum!

Isn\'t that what the off-topic and console debating forums are for? To discuss X-Box, Gamecube..etc. stuff.......anyways you have my vote to make a new forum.

I think this thread is going to get closed soon. The pressure is growing on mods and admins here.

I voted on to Jumpman just for curiosity; I think it should be tested. If the forums take the course Ddaryl foretold, then they could be deleted.

But if that\'d mean another few weeks of these forums off-line you can count me out.

You keep writing that it\'s 12:1, 14:1, 15:1..  Who is this one?  I\'ve noticed several people say that it\'s not going to happen and why bother etc...

We already have a couple other forums that people don\'t use.  Don\'t we have a debate forum and another console forum?  What we need is better moderators to delete, close, and move X Box threads, etc...  This is a PS2 board.  If it were an all console board it would be called Daily Radar or IGN..  

I don\'t mind the idea and I have mentioned on several occasions that instead of having a forum labeled main, he needs to split it up into PS2 games, PS2 hardware, and Other console debating.

Better moderators? I think ddaryl for instance is doing a great job as a moderator, but I think aaron posts way too seldomly.

SG and mm do a GREAT job as admins as they clear up all the serious sh!t messing this great forum of ours.

Without them we wouldn\'t have such a clean and good forum as we do now.
