We already have a couple other forums that people don\'t use. Don\'t we have a debate forum and another console forum? What we need is better moderators to delete, close, and move X Box threads, etc... This is a PS2 board. If it were an all console board it would be called Daily Radar or IGN..

We should have a new forum because not everyone is trying to start a debate when they post some gaming news. If I were to post a thread like "Shigeru Miyamoto Interview. pt1" I am not looking to argue with someone about what he said I just want to show to people that have not already seen it. We should at least give it a try. We had the private forums and they folded. Whats the harm of trying something new. If anything I say we get rid of the Rants forum and replace it.

BTW, The mods are doing an excellent job. Its just that there has been an influx of fanboys lately.

Gohan, you are saying the exact same thing I am. Have a forum for games, a forum for system, and then an other console forum for people who want to debate crap.

And as far as Mods patrolling this place, you very rarely see threads locked. There was one day when 7 of the first ten threads were XBox. I agree they are around, but they just aren\'t as strict about off topic threads as they should be. If they would just move XBox threads to the other consoles section whenever they see one people will finally get the hint that this is a PS2 board. I\'m not saying they are doing a bod job at all, I\'m just saying there could be some more killing and moving..

SoulGrind for example moves threads alot from main forum to off-topic. Or to debate. Or vise-versa, and I gotta say he\'s doing very good job there.

And these admins of ours are quite different than the usual admins. They humiliate, they don\'t ban so easily.

no matter what you do,this forum is where it happens and any other ones will be used on a limited basis,but i don\'t care either way in the end,however Bjorn wants it,is how i agree to it

If Bjorn says, and he only has to say once, that the idea will not be accomplished, then I\'ll surely agree. I\'m not arse-kissing but hey, I don\'t run this site

And I don\'t want these forums be down for another day so it could hurt us, the experiment, jumpman. But if Bjorn says "Lets try" then I\'m into it as well.

I don\'t think it would happen. Bjorn wouldn\'t like it all that much. Main reason why. Because it takes away the idea of what is PSX2central. The site is based only on ps2. Having other console would be a waste of time. The base of people coming here are PS2 fans.

There would just be a lot of flaming. That\'s why we gave the Console debate forum. So people could debate what they like/hate etc.

Eg. Look at the gamerweb forums. It was mostly SEGA based. Then they added in more forums. Not much happen in these forums. I don\'t really care if there was another console forum. But i doubt bjorn would want it.

How the hell could that happen? Simply change the name of Conole debating to "Other Consoles",problem solved.

And like I said before,it wouldn\'t hurt to try.
