ZOE, Ring of Red, and Shadow of Destiny box art...
« on: February 13, 2001, 01:10:36 AM »
The ZOE box art looks particularly nice.  You can partially see the MGS2 label in there that notifies you about the demo if you look carefully...

I know nothing about this game... the art is pretty nice, but kinda standard as well.

This art looks quite exceptional.  I enjoy anime style drawings on US box art, it gives a kind of over-seas tone... as if that wasn\'t obvious enough ;)

Well, that\'s that kiddies, hope you liked them.

Well, as far as I know, shadow of memories (or destiny) is an adventure game based on time travel. Main character is called Eike or something like that, and he gest murdered
in the beginning of the game.
Fortunately, he mets an strange stranger who give him the possibility to timetravel, so that he can avoid his own murder.

The game is supposed to be divided in 10 chapters, and in each chapter you\'ll begin getting killed, and you\'ll have to find how to avoid it, by time travelling...

What else? There are no guns, no zombies, no monsters in this game, but it\'s supposed to be somewhat creepy...

Whats funny is that when you travel in the past, the colors of environment are altered (like sepia) and only the main character Eike has normal colors...

The concept of the games seems to be pretty new and innovative, so I suppose (and hope) it\'s going to be a great game....

You can find a full preview here :

Hope that helped !

I have some in game footage of Shadow of destiny on a DVD demo disk and it looks superb. but it is hard to say whether or not it will be better than Silent Hill 2...

Maybe Konami are headging there beats with these two games, ah wall looks like ill have to buy them both to find out.

Well I think it\'s going to be very very different from
Silent Hill 2, so it\'s hard to compare the two games...

I think Shadow is going to be a great game, with fresh ideas, but right now, Silent Hill 2 is more exciting to me,
coz I know what it\'s gonna be like...plus, i\'m a big fan
of survival horror, so...

Anyway, I\'m really waiting Shadow of...and I hope SH2 will be out very quick !

Ring of RED

Ring of red looks like a good one, i like mech games and it would be nice to take a brake from all the instant action. Even though this game has a 1st person mode it is used for aiming in the battles. my other hope is that you can customise your mech :D.
