i can\'t wait to see the latest on team fortress 2 , i hope they make it multi platform .

i am also looking forward for any more news on the "devil may cry ", a resident evil style game.

oh also the latest Zelda news.

No matter who shows what, the gamers are going to come out on top in this next E3. As far as the Companies go I have to say that it is too close to call. There are too many factors that could EASILY push one company over the top. Whether it be Sony\'s awesome 2nd gen, Nintendo\'s killer apps, Microsofts sheer power, or Sega\'s kick@ss games. Like DJ Dan Rather and MC Ted Koppel said, "Its too close to call."

After they have finished their business (which shouldn\'t take too long) Big Bill will announce the Xbox price - it\'ll cost $600. And you\'ll have to subscribe for MSN @ $50 bucks per month.

Nintendo will announce that their Pokémon franchise is the only thing ever coming for GameCube. But at least there will be over 100 different colors.

Sony announces that the harddrive/Ethernet addon will cost $300 and that you\'ll have to sign up for their network service - which will be $45/month (at least it\'s a whole $5 cheaper than the Xbox network service).

All I know is that I\'m going to be probably getting a Gamecube as well. So I have a 66% chance of having a console that comes out on top, considering Sega\'s going Multi-platform. Thats my theory, if you own them all, you dont miss out on anything.

I still can\'t belive people think the x-box will be cheap cause bill gates has money... thats funny, it don\'t work that way if you know buisness, you are all in for a big surprise.

   Its not about Bill Gates or his money, its all about making deals happen. If you knew anything about Business you would know that.  Why do you think the Xbox is using an Intel processor instead of an AMD Athlon?  The price was too low and AMD couldn\'t handle it.  Nvidia could handle the price being super low on their chips because of what they are getting out of it.  They get to use the same technology that they used for the xbox in the PC and other devices and Microsoft paid for the R&D. The Xbox uses a traditional architecture while the PS2 uses a new architecture that is been proven ineffective and costs a lot more.  Also the chips in xbox are using a less expensive micron process.    See there are tons of things to consider and Microsoft is using price cutting for an advantage, they can also put out royaltys costs on each title made to be less than any console.

Also IE is FREE and has totally killed Netscape which wasn\'t free, how can they do things like this?  Its all about the deals and thats one area where you lack in experience.

Hmpf.  Well, I don\'t think we\'ll be disappointed with Xbox\'s price.  That seems to be the only knock against the system right now, but it really isn\'t much of an argument since the Xbox will be "competitively priced".  Think about it, Chrono.  Does $400+ sound "competitive" to you?  Microsoft are not stupid, expect a $250-$300 price tag.

As far as the Reverend\'s predictions, here they are:

• Sega: We\'ll see a handful of awesome DC games.  However, the real kickers are going to be the cross platform Sega titles.  We\'ll see Xbox, PS2 and GC content from Sega.
  
  
• Sony: My only prediction (read: HOPE) is that they try to do better than that lame-ass stunt they pulled at last year\'s E3.  We all know this is a given.  Sony couldn\'t possibly stink it up two years in a row.  While Sony will be good, they have to be REALLY IMPRESSIVE to one up TWO BRAND NEW CONSOLES.  That\'s a fat chance.  They can\'t afford to get ****y this time around because PS2 won\'t be the latest and greatest machine on the market anymore.    PS2 had it\'s chance last year and failed to impress, and this year\'s E3 will belong to tha Cube and Xbox!
  
  
• Nintendo: C\'mon, we all know Nintendo will show us some stuff that will make us crap the hell out of our pants.  IT\'S NINTENDO, PEOPLE!!! GameCube will definitely be one of the top consoles of the show.  If Miyamoto shows Mario Cube, then I\'m going to get a part time job as a male prostitute to scrap up some cash for a Cube.  The show is Nintendo\'s to lose.
  
  
• Xbox: Microsoft have gone on record and said that they will own E3.  With the impressive things that they have under wraps, I have a hard time contesting that.  After Microsoft dominates the TGS, they will take E3 by storm.  All naysayers will be silenced, and the only people that don\'t buy Xbox will be the biased anti-Microsoft ones.  We will see the "BIG FOUR" at the show.  For those of you who have no idea what the "BIG FOUR" are, well let the Reverend enlighten you.  The "BIG FOUR" are the titles that Microsoft\'s Ed Fries eluded to in many-a-interview.  Supposedly, the "BIG FOUR" will be four games that will be leaps and bounds above anything shown for the PS2.  These games will be so technically advanced that the PS2 (or the Cube) couldn\'t even imagine running these games.
  
  As far as the price goes, no one will be disappointed. Just as we predicted that DC was going to retail at $199 and that PS2 would retail for $299, we know that Xbox will be from $249-$299.  Mark my word.  This year will belong to Xbox and GameCube and the PS2 will be third place.  Sony had their chance last year and they aren\'t going to get a second chance to make a first impression.
  
  Game of the Show:  Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty/MGSX
  
  Most Impressive Hardware of the Show: Tie between Xbox and GameCube.  Mario Cube will be a technically stunning and beautiful game.  However, the Microsoft sports games will make believers out of everyone.
  
  Least Impressive Hardware of the Show: Once people see the awesome graphical capabilities of the NV2@ and the Flipper, the PS2\'s meager GS will pale in comparison.  Although the games might be good, the visual quality will be lackluster.
  
  Best of Show: Sega again this year!  The hardware might be old, but their games will wow the crowds and Sega\'s booth will be jumping again this year.  
  
  Worst Game of Show: Devil May Cry for the PS2.  So much hype surrounds the game until it is crushed by it.  The game won\'t be bad (it will be good), but just not as good as everyone expected.

no-one will own e3 2k1! BUT the gamers WILL

nintendo- duh, GC and GBA will rock with zelda cubed on video, mario, waverace and third party titles playble
I hope they\'ll announce a KI3.GC\'s price will be announced, i\'ll be 150 us dollar  Go! Nintendo impress me!!!

xbox- will dissapoint most of its games will be DC,pS2 or pc ports which look no better than ps2 or GC. Good games are Halo, MGSX, SHX and malice. They will anounce their price which is 300 dollars

ps2- will do okayis not that great, Naughty dogs game will be a BIG dissapointment. Sony will show Etermination and Syphon filter 3. Some great third parties will be:RE4, MGS2, Tekken 4?, Soul caliber 2? and a whole buch of new unannounced games. Sony will drop ps2\'s price to 250!!

PC- I dont really care about this, because its the mostly same as xbox anyway! Some games that\'ll rocka are UT2, Return to Castle Wolfentein and such!

Sega once again steals the show, albeit tough competition from MGS2 and GT3. VF4 and it\'s 10 million polys spank all other fighting games on PS2 and arcade. Sega announces SegaNet will be available for PS2.A VERy big franchise will have it\'s sequel made known and it will cause great uproar among the classic Sega fans. PSO2 gets announced for a Decmber release. Shenmue 2 clips shown and a japanese demo will be availbe to play. their sports games go to other platofrms, are all network compatible.
