EA delays TWINE PS2
The PlayStation 2 version of The World Is Not Enough has been in development for quite some time, and it has been delayed again.
GameSpot has learned that Electronic Arts has delayed the release of The World Is Not Enough for the Sony PlayStation 2. The game was originally on track to be released in Q4 2001, but it has now been pushed back to a tentative release in fiscal 2002. The delay is a result of EA\'s desire to create a product that is optimized for the PlayStation 2. The company hopes to create a version of TWINE that is appreciably different, particularly from a visual perspective, from the PlayStation and Nintendo 64 versions. When contacted for comment, an Electronic Arts representative told GameSpot, "EA has released no new information on the James Bond franchise, so we can\'t confirm the rumors."
TWINE for the PlayStation 2 was originally announced in early 2000. The game will include 20 different weapons and gadgets, as well as larger maps.
