I rented it from Blockbuster, and I\'ve been playing it for about two days, it\'s a decent game, not too great not too bad. The control scheme is very complex and it\'ll take several hours to get used to it but when you do it can be a lot of fun - the dynamics of the fighting are very cool and it\'s not limited to just simple punch and kick.
But I think the game has three main problems;
i)The difficulty - I\'m playing on the medium difficulty level and sometimes this game can be a real *****, there really needs to be more Hypo health powerups around the levels than there already are. The gameplay also might have been helped if they put in target camera lock - like in Zelda, that way you don\'t have to keep swinging the bloody camera around to follow your opponent(s) when they move away from you.
ii)The gameplay gets a little repetitive, as you simply follow the radar, hit switch A, door A opens, go through and hit switch B, door B opens etc.
iii)Slowdown, on the later levels if you decide to go in guns blazing there\'s some serious slowdown when there are four people on screen at once - especially when one or more are shooting at you.
All in all it\'s a decent game, I\'d recomend renting it and trying it out - it has it\'s moments and I happen to like the Americanized-anime style. I got a three day rental and I don\'t think I\'ll be able to finish it, but I\'ll keep the save files on my memory card and perhaps rent it another day.
Decent, but not spectacular. I want spectacular.
