So, last saturday I went happily to a shop and bought FFIX; got shocked about the price ( well, it was ONLY 70$, and I thought it would cost more ), and walked home even happier.
I ripped the box open; not too harsh \'tho, had no time to read the manual and put the cd in to my playstation; wich is in my room.
Few boring seconds and the squaresoft -logo appears in front of me aided with this medieval music. I kinda like the tune and continue to listen to it. Suddenly, the logo transforms to beautiful video-clip, and I watch it very interested and eager. I spotted a place called Tifa from the map showing in the video and thought about FFVII a while. Soon the video-clip ended and I wasn\'t so sad about it because I still had to watch the has-to-be-beautiful opening-video, and I was very excited.
So, I pushed the -start game- option from the menu, and the stormy starting-sequence opened before my eyes.
After the very beautiful opening-scene I am introduced to the wonderful characters of FFIX. After the first battle with Zidane and pals I can tell that the system hasn\'t changed ( like I expected ). Good system.
Then I meet ViVi. First thought is; "How cute". Well, ViVi is VERY symphatic character, and the empathy flows from the beginning. Love towards Vivi grows as I play, but I\'ll get back to that later.
The Princess Garnet\'s bodyguard Steiner is really funny character; altho\' he doesn\'t try to be I\'m sure
I won\'t go to the story, as I haven\'t got a big clue of it YET, and won\'t spoil what I have experienced; let me just say I love what I\'ve seen. After playing 7 hours I can\'t stop. The game\'s to my taste. It\'s far better than FFVIII; as I love the old medieval-fantasy theme. The characters are deeper than those in FFVIII, and I can\'t watch Vivi worrying about his existence without smiling every few seconds. I love it! I\'ll post my review when I\'ve completed the game \'tho...
