The state of the UK PS2 Scene

Well what can i say, its piss poor, there are very few games available, and those that are available are mainly crap. For example Disneys dinasaur!, what are you doing to us sony. Have you forgotten about us?.

Im in the right mind to get one of these new modchips so i can play some halfway decent games this century on my system I paid £300 for.

Ive heard that gta 3 is getting a simultanious eu/jap launch, hmm how long will that last, i bet we\'ll end up getting it months after them.

Errrrr calm down mate, you know some people don\'t have a PS2, espeualy in the UK so just count yourself lucky you got one.

Give it a few more months and you won\'t have enough money to buy all the games you want

I felt like that to but then i thought about it,and soon  i am going to have to many games to play,and i carnt wait it is going to be soooooooo good!!!!!!!!1

Totally agree with you m8. We pay MORE for consoles and games and for what ? Later release dates and dodgee slower PAL conversations (when 60Hhz PAL can be used as an additional option).

Not just sony but the whole games industry in the UK should get its act together.

another thing that puzzlez me is that pc games have little or no delay at all between us and uk release, so why do consoles need it

Look i still don\'t even have my PS2 yet, APRIL the 23it arrives :D.

Till then do as i say, sit back an relax.

Plus get some money ready for the March to June launch dates.
Gran turismo 3
Zone of Enders with the MGS2 demo
Dark Cloud
Shadows of Destany
Etc etc etc....

if you stll feal that SONY has dummped on you from a GREAT HEIGHT then please please give me your PS2 ;)

Very Surprising that the Australian Ps2 situation is much better than the American and European regions.

We are a much smaller region and almost everyone here got or can still get units.

Then again, it was probably so they could wipe out dreamcast back in that time frame before segas announcement.

We are starting to get the over the counter PS2 in the UK, there is still demand for them, plus the demand is even higher with Mail order companyies.
thats where i cam getting mine

Becausethey do a no pay untull July they have been Flooded with orders, hence the reason why i have to wait until April to get one :crying:.

people are saying that you can walk into a store in the us and see one........

every store ive been to dosent have one, i think that its good the ps2 hasnt lost its flame, with roughly 8 million units soldworldwide, sony owns japan already...

i just hope consumers are patitient and can wait a little for the great games....
