Virtua Fighter 4 Screens !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Isnt sega using different development or there own customized dev tools that is simular than the dreamcast ?

Knowing Sega, they produced a excellent conversion of Virtua Fighter 2 for the Saturn, who knows what they will do for the ps2.
I met him 15 years ago, I was told there was nothing left, no reason, no concious, no understanding and even the most rudamentory sense of life or death, good or evil, right or wrong, I met this 6 year old child with this blang pale emotionless face and, the blackest eyes, the devils eyes, I spent 8 years trying to reach him, and then another 7 trying to keep him locked up because I realised what was living behind that boys eyes was purly and simply evil.

By now, you\'ve seen our first high-res screens of VF4, which AM2 tells us were taken directly off dev-kits

just got this from ign article and i am not sure which dev kits they are talking about but it may be the PS2 dev kit - i am kinda confused about which one they may be talking about so don\'t take that as if i said it is
This Sig is a Work in Progress.

Remember how we heard how Sega was not exactly \'porting\' this title, but they were working on the PS2 version seperatly?  We can probably expect more polygons (this game doesn\'t look like it\'s using all that many), and textures that are simplified, but made to look good on PS2...  just a thought.  Working the bandwidth to make it arcade perfect would be REAL hard.

It\'ll take time, but with any carefully executed port (yes, i said port because it will be in the arcade first) we can expect something truly amazing.  My jaw still hits the floor when I see the difference between Soul Calibur in the arcades and Soul Calibur on my Dreamcast.  Maybe this game will revive the 3D fighter in me just like SC did, but I\'m not sure... DOA2 didn\'t do the trick, even with the large jubblies :)  I just hope this title offers something REALLY innovative gameply wise rather then just a prettier VF much like how the TTT port went.  *Sigh* my 2D fix is still filled with my DC, but I will dearly miss the 2D games once 3D completely takes over and makes 2D completely extinct :(

I know man. I didn\'t think DOA2 was that great and once the 2D games are gone, I\'ll be depressed. Bright side is, I don\'t see Capcom letting 2D die anytime soon.

As for the PS2 port not looking as good. The PS2 can handle it, like Ryu said it will take careful planning. But if anyone can do it, it is Sega.

VF gameplay needs a face lift though. Something added. Something drastic. Not just improved graphics.

Just look at those faces... So detailed, so beautiful...

This game makes me drool truly... The backgrounds are really good ( except quite blocky still; but I think it\'ll be fixed ), and the textures as well.

This game is really shaping up to be really good.

Now I just want to see first videos of it running on ps2...

I hope 2D fighting games never extinct.
No 3D fighter can recreate the feeling of Caplcoms 2D fighing games.
I simply cant find any Tekken or Virtua Fighter or any game as cool as Street Fighter Aplha 3.Its suoer fast and very tactical at the same time.

mmmmhhh.....altough I never really liked the vf series, this game looks quite impressive....but DC could do that(if scaled down a bit), it looks just a bit better than shenmue. I looks nowhere near those characters renders we saw earlier. I bet ps2 could do this with no real problem at all. The game looks slightly jagified but that will be cleared up for release. Good job AM2 you once again pushed graphics to a new level!

BTW why havent we see any movies of the agem in action yet??

Hopefully at E3 a Video or even playable demo will be on the PS2.

This has a 1 million copy seller in Japan written all over it.

DOA2:HC looks a lot better IMO.  Maybe these are just bad pics (most likely), but if they\'re not, I\'m not impressed.

One thing that I just remembered about the VF series is the "ring out" thing.  I hate ring out!  That is one reason I liked Tekken so much more than VF.  I hope VF gets rid of the ring outs and makes the backgrounds interactive like DOA2\'s were.

DOA2:HC doesn\'t come close to this. Go to Daily Radar and watch the movies. DOA2, TTT, nor Soul Calibur look this good or this real.

I\'m afraid you\'re in the minority. VF4 looks much more detailed than DOA2. Now don\'t let me move on to gameplay...

Anyhow, DOA2 uses tons of Goraurd shading, while VF4 is much more textured. (on the characters)

Go download the Virtua Fighter 4 movie from Daily Radar. Then tell me it looks better.
