just face it everyone still likes the big N....and they are going to want gamecube, hell I plan on getting one regardless so I\'ll just have to have both PS2 and Gamecube...my opinion is Xbox will be left in the dark eventually.
Playstation 2...yeah, I got that:D

I like the big N, and I have $600 set aside to import one. So that $150 rumor was music to my ears! plus, I put my Neo Geo CDZ on my credit card

There was some ablum awhile ago that sold the most copies for the year.  What was interesting is that it was not anyones favorite album (we are taking \'70s so \'album\' fits).

In a way that is Nintendo\'s biggest strengh this generation;  they have set themselves up as the perfect "Second-system".  From the begining Nintendo has stated that they will not have the most powerfull hardware.  They are going for better than average graphics with strong first and second party titles and a very low cost.

The idea is that the PS2 or Xbox owner sees the GCN as a cheap, quick purchase so "why not?".  What you end up with is the GCN selling across the field and, while it may not be the best system out there or the mojorities favorite console, it could very well end up selling more than the competition.

Final Fantasy X is the game I bought the PS2 for. In regads to weather it will compete with the GameCube I could care less. I couldn\'t care even more what the Japanese like. No Offence to them ofcourse. I only care about what I like. And On my list Final Fantasy is above GameCube but GameCube is on my list along with several other systems coming out.

No Worries

With the Nintendo franchiases behind it\'s back, and a price tag of $150, who wouldn\'t want a GameCube?  Ok maybe I won\'t be getting it the first day but still, whenever I go to a KB or Toys R Us, I\'ll pick one up... easily.   Is it true they will be coming in multiple colors AT LAUNCH?  Purple is kinda... gay...

I wouldn\'t mind it being 150 though. But Personally I think 150 is a load of crap.

you just have to remember, ps2 has sold and pretty much owns japan at this moment the majority of gamers bought a ps2 there, so if people want to get a game for their system that they recently bought, or buy another system..
i think the the gamecube wont do too well in japan..
IM BACK. you have a problem with that? get in the back.

The GBC is still selling.  The GBA has 3 million preorders and it\'s 100$.  I still think there is plenty of room for another console.

I think every one on this board even though they will remain close to their PS2\'s side (me included) will pick up a game cube. For 150 bux why the hell not....even for 200 bux it still wouldn\'t be a bad buy.....and u might even get a game with it like mario or something.......
Playstation 2...yeah, I got that:D
