I agree with what you are saying to an extent. Lately many people seem more focused on getting 1,000 or 2,000 posts than having real discussions. I think it\'s tough being a new member at just about every forum though. Questions like "How do I get a pic?", "What game should I buy?", stuff like that is what people are tired of. New people that post thoughtful things are usually well recieved.

BTW, you\'re sig needs to be less than 5 lines. When someone\'s sig is longer than a typical post it gets obnoxious.

mm modified it I believe, becuse he had warned you about your sig earlier. You changed it after he modified your post. He asked you in the main forum to change it and it took you too long apparantly.

I never even saw his warning.
I changed it like 1 minute after you told me too.
And as you see I had no problems with changing it once I saw a Mods warning as you can see in this thread.
I didnt even now I had gotten a warning.
I hadnt even had that sig for like 30 minutes.
There should have been some kind of grace period to fix that sig, before he went and changed my post.

Just did a little research. I was warned by MM at 12:15.
I changed my profile back at 12:17. That means I wasnt even given 5 minutes. Thats just disrespectful. I can understand kinda doing that to a person who is a troll, but I havent broken ANY rules here before, except for that one, and I was treated like that. Im really upset.

This is in response to the deleted topic in the main forum(It was in a closed Topic, and this discusion had nothing to do with the closing so I decided to finish the conversation.)

Im not going to name anyone, because I dont want to get in any arguements with anyone about it.
Its not that bad of a clique or anything, its just there.
Its like whenever a new member makes a controversial post they are told, "Your too new to be saying that kinda stuff."or something to that affect.
And it has happened cause Ive seen it, and it makes me mad.
Some people are also way too worried about post count than post content.
Ive been here six months, and have very few posts.
Does that make me a newbie, and should my opinions and observations mean less, NO, but they do to a lot of people cause they see a low post count and they dont think you actually have anything intelligent to say or stuff like that.Thats kinda what I was talking about.
Like if your not In the group then your posts arnt even really recognized and that just makes me mad.

BTW: thats pretty much what my original post said, or something like that, but since it was removed I had to rewrite it, and I lost my train of thought.Thats why I said forget it. But I decided to repost it.Hopefully this one stays around.

i have seen the same things happen to new people - infact i even remember it happening to me once or twice

it is stupid - and although i do post a lot - i do post accodring to the topic and my posts contain content

now like you said there are a couple of people posting BS and one liners/ or just plain uncalled for posts - honestly i don\'t think that will ever end

but even though people don\'t seem to care about someone with a low post count - i don\'t believe that is totally true -  i for one pay attention and remember what most people post - i have a very good memory most of the time -  and most people here respect their posts  

also i don\'t believe their is a amount of people who form a cliche - they are just people who relate to each other - they are people who have been here and posted enough to know more about each other - its like having friends, you are more comfortable talking to them than a stranger

I have been here for almost a year and I think I have a relatively low post count compared to most other people here.

As for your post. I agree with you to an extent. I have never done it but I guess some members feel the need to warn new members about posting off the wall things to keep them from getting in trouble with a mod/admin and getting a bad reputation right off the bat. Thats the only reason I can think of. I haven\'t really noticed any of the problems that you have mentioned but I probably will now that it has been brought to my attention.

faith, since these are the temp forums, i cannot edit peoples sigs, OR thier profile.  which is what i normally do in the past.

its just a thread, look beyond it

It means that he is a robotic tool of the forums. He is programmed to defend the mods and worship TOBG. It is pretty obvious once you think about it.
