The Day My Playstation2 Died....
« on: March 03, 2001, 10:10:35 PM »
And I was singing why why did my playstation die?

sorry.

Any way I awoke this morning and felt like having a go of TTT and so I started up my PS2 and thought, Why Is The PS2 Intro Interlaced?????......Why Am I Being Shown The PSX logo which is also interlaced????......Why do I have to re-input my system settings???

So as all these questions were un answered for now I went into browser to see if it was reading the TTT disc that was in there from last night. And I got the evil DISK READ ERROR!!!!. I pushed the eject button and the disk tray shot out so fast the game disk got shot out of it.

So I rang Sony tech support and now its gonna be atleast 3 weeks before I get my PS2 back.

I should sue Sony for mental anguish and loss of gaming time :)

Muahahahahha! I dont like clowns. Man thats terrible I dont let my PS2 out of my sight for fear somebody might do something wrong and damage it. Three weeks is like an eternity waiting for it to get fixed. I would rather have the KILLER KLOWNS FROM OUTER SPACE in my yard. Bad break man hope you get it back soon.

Nightmare?
« Reply #14 on: March 04, 2001, 03:43:23 PM »
My worst nightmare would present itself at an airport...no doubt about it.  When I travel for my company, I take my PS2 along for entertainment during the evenings (motels are quite boring).

My PS2 is an automatic carry-on!  No if\'s and\'s or but\'s about it.  Heck, my LAPTOP gets checked in if there\'s a choice between the two being kept close at hand.

So when does that nightmare present its ugly head?  When I get on some little pond-hopper and find that they don\'t have overhead storage, etc. and they want to try to get me to let them stick my PS2 in the belly of the plane (with everyone elses luggage & slammed up in there by "Sluggo" the monkey boy luggage handler)... No thanks, this thing stays with me at all times!!!

Picture this: Dave finds an available seat for his \"Aggressive Drivers Anonymous\" encounter group session.   Saying, \"Hello\" he sits amongst his support group of S2K owners...  Smiling, they rock ever-so-gently to and fro in their chairs...humming peacefully...drinking coffee...and rolling little AutoArt & Maisto S2000s across their knees.  At this moment, the group responds in unison, \"Hi, w1ngman!\" :D
