With posts like "what is your fav game of all time" and Sega deciding to develop across platforms, thought I pop this idea out there:

Imagine Sega bringing SNATCHER back as a reincarnation for the PS2

This was a kick-a$$ game on Sega-CD and I could just imagine how sweet it would be on the PS2 using a current Metal Gear Solid engine.  Stretch out more story time, for sure, but the "Bladerunner-esque" game was just killer in its day.  I think it would do well as a PS2 remake with MGS\'s treatment.

Thoughts?  How \'bout other games that would work with a different engine than they were originally designed with?

I think now that the media persecution of games has died down a little, now would be the perfect time to redesign and re-release Night Trap. The game engine sucked donkey ****, but the premise was quite promising. That and Ground Zero Texas, Sewer Shark, and TomCat Alley. My god those games were great.

SonyFan...doncha think Ace Combat 4 is gonna fill the TomCat Alley niche nicely?  I too loved TomCat Alley (it and Ground Zero Texas MADE me buy the Sega CD :D ) and Sony\'s exceptional relationship with Namco that has allowed the Ace Combat series to exist has been truly inspired gaming (for me anyway).  Electrosphere was just about as gorgeous as PSX gaming has gotten I think.

Anyway, TomCat Alley kept my thumbs pretty jammed up.  Thanks for the memory... :D

Are you insane! I love her character, she stays.
