Do people know what "don\'t overuse polls" mean?

I think there are just a tad too many polls posted lately. Yes, it is an exciting new feature, but you don\'t have to use it all at once. Just try it sometime when you have a good idea for a poll, and there aren\'t many already.

Yes, they do. But, I think also its a new feature. Therefor, everyone wants to try it. I actually am guilty of it. I done the Claude Shannon poll. But, I think once the new wears off of it, it will cool down. But then again, it may also be a bad idea in general.

Ah, sorry; as my poll is quite useless ( but for funny purposes ) - but I explain it as to test the new feature. And that\'s what most of the ppl has done here. Don\'t let them down by closing or editing their first polls.

As if you mean this personally to some, then I have nothing to say. But do not speak it generally; many of here has only posted one poll, some none, some many.

But of course you can advice them to add some quality to the polls they write.

As I have made one off-topic poll ( right forum, first "test ), do you mean I am a poll over-user as well?

You missed the action dude. SoulGrind added \'Samwise is an idiot\' and \'Samwise is always wrong\' or something like that. The new extra option is made by me.

yea i think there have been a lot of polls but it will die down trust me - it has done the same thing in most other forums i have been in

give it a week or two and they will die down

Well, samwise, you can see I miss a lot of action these days. I usually call it "my luck", but you could blame the country where I live. Usually when I write here, you\'re asleep. When it\'s late night here, these forums are crowded the most.

And that gives opportunity to post as many posts as usually without getting noticed about "how many Darth Joyda names there is piled"

But I do find these new poll-fights between mods really interesting...

had to say it. Change is bad, just remember that! The polls, which are quite annoying as they stick to the top of the page, just fil the forum with more useless crap on topics no one really cares about. But hey, they will be gone soon enough, the change always comes full circle in this forum fo rsome reason, changes just don\'t stick, people will get pics before 500 posts, text under their name just by asking, etc. I prefer doing everything the hard way. the hard way for this little doo hickey is to wait out the madness til people start complaing on why people DONT use them, like the chat.

Hmm, granted, I dont stay up all night, but you are in Finland and I am in Denmark - so the difference is not all that big you know.
