Well, I voted Tekken, as I don\'t really have any experience of the other selectables! Closest to me ( the next after tekken ) must be street-fighter, as I will never forget Street Fighter II Turbo on my old pc *sigh* :)

Tekken is, and has always been, very addicting; and it really introduced me to the world of console beat-em-ups, and today I couldn\'t play any other beat-em-up game ( as I\'ve gotten familiar with the characters :) ) - I once thought beat-em-ups were stupid and simple... until Tekken.

And now I love my TTT, and I play Tekken 3 every once in a while also, to get few laughs :)

My favorite, due to sentimental reasons, is Killer Instinct, which has somehow been slighted in this poll. Other than Soul Caliber, I don\'t really like any fighters now. It is a tired genre that needs some new ideas.

Mine would be Virtua Fighter.

Ever since first playing it on the Saturn Ive been hooked. And is the reason why Ive just recently bought a Saturn again so I can experience 1 and especially 2.

Greatest fighting games in the 32 bit era !

well for me it is DOA2

that game has a lot of depth and no pre determined moves - i like that - even though it is not very popular it has me hooked

i think that i am one of if not the best at it here in houston - i have not been beaten in about a month

gotta keep my streak going

Street Fighter. Ever since Street Fighter 2 came home to the SuperNES I have been in love. But of course, I was already a Capcom whore. If it is by Capcom--I will buy it.

You forgot to put Soul Caliber on the list. :D

I used to  take martial arts so I love games where I can see the actual styles and forms they are using. That is why I  tend to stick to 3D fighters. VF and SC did actual fighting styles REALLY well. Tekken did it ok. So since SC wasn\'t on the list I voted for VF my 2nd favorite.

the tekken series is got to be the best even if i was a little dissapointed with ttt.B4 that it has to be mk, but i did feel that mk3 and the others werent as good as the first 2. I can remember playing mk in the arcade b4 it got really big, it was soooooooooo cool especially knocking down the pit. Sf2 was good but i always found it a bit limited as eveyone had about three special moves and evry one had basically the same moves and special moves. How boring
