I got a Question for everyone thats Silent Hill related

Did you guys ever hear about that small town on an island were everyone disappeared? This really happened like 10 years ago in Europe I think. I know it wasn\'t in America. But anyway it reminded me of Silent Hill so much. Because every one in the town was a member of a Satanic cult. They think that one night every one came 2 together at the beach and walked into the ocean and drowned them selves. But supposedly they never found any bodies. Every man women and child was gone. Is this creepy or what?!?

hell yeaht hats creepy, but i need proof to believe it, find a link that talks about, somewhere?if you cant its cool, it reminds me of all those people that killed themselves drinking that one tuff, and heavens gate, the main leader was castraited "is that how you spell it??" i think people like that or cults for that matter, should be seperated or taken care of before things like that happen.

I don\'t have any proof. I heard about it a long time ago but I never gave it any thought so I forgot about it. But when I got Silent Hill I started 2 remember only small parts of what happened so once again I forgot all about it until a few nights ago. It was one of those TV shows about the worlds scariest locations. The whole show was about it but I missed the first 10 minutes. I was really pissed cause they never said were it was. If they did I must have missed it. Its supposed 2 be the most haunted place on earth. I know its true, but I will admit that the fact that no bodies were found does seem a bit odd.

Yes. Most of the people were part of a cult. They worshipped Samuel. Samuel is another name for Satan according 2 a website called The Demon Dictionary.

Man thats weird, anything that has to do with satin or cults count me out.  I guess that was probably one of the reasons I stopped playing that game.  Never has a game shocked me, or scared me so bad.  Imagine what SH2 will be like!

So that nobody named Samuel would go around claiming he\'s Satan and biting people\'s heads off, let me correct that the name of the demon was Samael, not Samuel

I\'d rather not imagine what SH2 will be like, I\'d like to still be able to sleep at night *shiver*

As I\'ve said before. I am looking forward to Silent Hill 2 more than I am looking forward to any othor game on the PS2.

It makes me sad that I have to wait so long.

yeah i heard about that, they made a film out of it, i think steven king wrote it, it was called "the storm of the century" or something like that, its quite long though, i think  its 2 tapes long. Thet  say something about how it happenend before, i think it may of happend to the myion people ( not spelt right i know, but i didnt take history so i dont actually care). are you sure you didnt see the film, or maybe steven king or whoever wrote it ripped off something he learnt in school.
