LMAO!, well anyways, i think they are ps2 screens, remember when they were comparing the pc models witht he ps2 enhanced models, they look exactly like the models for the ps2 verion, thats why i think it is, and in the old crappy screens, the hub look identical, i just hope im right.

Wow..they look so clean and the edges are smooth.. can any other website confirm that this shot is genuine? If this is true than the AA problem is a thing of a past.

Hmm and the PS2 can handle this game without a hitch? The PC is even having a hard time playing Giants on a P3 733 with a GeForce 2. If Unreal Tournament suffered from the port over from PC, I doubt Giants is gonna look THAT good, well maybe, except at 9fps. Having FSAA in that game is a crazy idea concidering GeForce 2\'s are getting strained.

Oh well, nice screens. And I think Cylde is mistaken for the color banding as there is none:) 2nd picture? Maybe one line?

Because the enviroments are huge and the textures are not stored on any memory, they are streamed. So basically they are always redrawing the enviroment, and it\'s pretty complex. But smugglers run did it,but the enviroments weren\'t as complex like the enviroments in Giants.
But there are talented brits behind this game (well the PC version anyway, not sure about the PS.2 version) they\'ll figure this out.

The difference is in the way you code

The PS2 can handle this and then some.

Some develoers are struggling others are comign along quite nicely

I never said it was impossible to bring Giants to the PS2, but those screens look better than the PC, GeForce 2\'s are having trouble rendering that at an acceptable rate. Unless those developers really tinkered and perfected its graphics engine.
