Yes some of the pics are nice but it seems Microsoft have pulled a Sony and over hyped the XBox a bit too much.

MGSX= mediocre and shows NOTHING the PS2 cannot do, the reflections on the car is enviromental mapping..something the PS2 and GT3 do MUCH better...not only that but their are DRIVERS in the GT3 cars...punk;)

HALO= JOKE...it looks like the same damn PC screens we saw ages ago, and it WON\'T HAVE ON-LINE PLAY....Tribes2 will be better and HALO will be on PC as well(and look better and have on-line play)

it get old looking at incomplete screens but never the less, until MS announces the completion of the final hardware and shows games running on them these shots are only the beginning

so before you go beating your chest on how MS and XBox are inferior to everything probably should save that judgement for E3

that is is MS can show off final hardware graphics at E3

In motion, that game makes MGS2 look like the last-generation graphics product that it has become due to today\'s release of Xbox media. Halo in motion looks better than (almost) any game I have ever seen...it looks godly. Just watch the goddamn video.

On the flip side of the coin, let\'s not get too excited about Xbox. We all remember that Rogue Squadron 2 demo running off a finished NGC development kit, right? The one that had 30 X-wings.....each composed of 30,000 polygons.....with the pilots in each made up of 4000 polygons......never dipping below 60 FPS.........and with graphics that were almost 100% identical to the movie and will be much improved upon before launch? Yea, you\'re damn right you remember. That little lunchbox will rip everything else out there to threads.

Only advantage I see are the textures. You obviously have a low-end pc and aren\'t used to those type of graphics. People bashed the PS2 when it didn\'t \'blow away\' the DC, and now people will bash the xbox since it doesn\'t \'blow away\' the PS2. Last hope, GC.

My god do you actually think that i like the Xbox? **** no. I hate it with a passion. But Halo DOES look better than anything I\'ve seen on PS2 so far. BIG DEAL. The game is made by Bungie, and what games have they made recently? NONE. Halo might look good but when it comes out Metroid and PD2 will obliderate it in the game play department.

Um, I seriously beg to differ. I just saw the movie, and it looks slightly better if not on par with Tribes 2 for the PC. Makes MGS2 look like last-generation graphics? I\'m afraid you\'re going to have to eat those words. You guys don\'t get it. I don\'t think the xbox games look like crap, that would be an ignorant thing to say, but they don\'t look mind-boggling like it was supposed to. None of those games make me want to purchase an xbox. Does that mean that I\'ll never get one? No. When great games are made, the purchase will be made. I\'ve been with a PC and 3d acceleration since a Voodoo 1. I\'ve seen all the phases and leaps in technology. Halo looks nice, but it\'s no MGS2 killer. Besides, they aren\'t even the same kind of game. Regardless, it didn\'t have that impact like MGS2 did. Mind you, when I first saw the MGS2 trailer I was anti-PS2 and I had to swallow everything I ever said.
