DOA2: Hardcore or TTT?

Which one is better?  What advantages does one have over the other?

Well its all based on opnions. I suggest you check out something like IGN.com and see what how they compare them... I prefer TTT tho.

I prefer DOA2:Hardcore, but my gf absolutely loves TTT - I guess you should rent first. I love DOA2 because the countering system is simple, but at the same time very effective, also, unless you\'re really good you can still get beat in Tekken by a button masher who\'s picked someone like Eddy.

TTT for me...I could never really get into DOA2 but I bet others would agree with me.  Mostly the characters and the extras packed into it make it a winner in my book.  Although you can\'t really go wrong with either..

TTT:
-Over 30 players
-Tons of moves for every player
-Great graphics
-Tag feature is really cool

DOA2:
-Smoother transitions between moves than in TTT (like Soul Calibur)
-based on a counter system (the counters take off tons of energy)
-very easy to pick up and play
-very easy for button smashers (or random tappers)
-Guys are not as balanced as in TTT.
-Only 10 players
-Tons of costumes for each player
-interactive backgrounds

Personally, I would choose TTT because I grew up with Tekken.  DOA is a lot like the VF series, and I never really liked the VF series.  They are both really good games.  I would also suggest you rent both of them and see which is better.  That way, you can be sure you get the game you want.

i enjoyed playing DOA2 longer than TTT

so i think DOA2 is better for that reason - although both are awsome - buy one now and the other later - its what i did

I would say that Tekken Tag Tournament is better because it is A PS2 exclusive game.The bowling tournament is A nice bonus to.

hehe, yes, I\'d definatley hafta go with DoA2:HC. Its a very ....... interesting game. Though I hold the opinion that the combo dynamics and the general fighting system is paramount in all fighting games, DoA2:HC is a glaring exeption. The inclusion of that mud wrestling ring and a tasteful collection of scantly clad women makes every other aspect of the game irrelevant.......

I\'m sure other people, who wold otherwise be highly sophisticated, have fallen under the same spell. I invinte them to make themselves known to the world and say "Dead or Alive 2: HardCore kicks ASS!! (and shows a lot of it too!)

Im going to have to say...neither save ur money and buy urself a better game....such as ZOE ....onimusha....bouncer....ok maybe not bouncer but hey what do I know, im just a brainless zombie

DOA2 has to be the best fighter yet I\'ve played in a LONG time. Its lush graphics, sharp gameplay, and yes its feel is very smooth. No offence to TTT, I just prefer DOA2 over it.

Tough question. Luckily I managed to get both, but if I had to choose one I would probably have to go with TTT. But right now I can\'t play either sinceI\'m too busy playing Onimusha.
