I guess we\'ll find out in Shenmue II? ;)

I just started a new game and it is really not that bad. I didn\'t really notice when I first bought the game because I was still overwhelmed at the whole scope of the game.

I think the only reason that happens is because a lot of people didn\'t follow the hints when they first heard them. They had to talk to about 50 people before they had any idea of what to do.

BTW, I can not wait for Shenmue 2/3/4/5/....etc.

Graphics:
Square.
This is, because I own a playstation and Square has completely stretched it to its far limits with Final Fantasy IX. The graphics were beautiful in FFVIII, and in FFVII at the time, but always Square has included something new.

Storyline:
Yet again Square.
This is, because I just LOVE the final fantasy -serie. I\'ve always been a huge fan of the serie, and I will always be. I will buy every Final Fantasy game until the end comes. And this is because I love deep and interesting storylines. I\'ve always read books, from the ages of 7, and fallen in love with every story-wise book. so forth, I wait a good storyline from a game ( excepting FPS\'s, such as Timesplitters, and Car-driving games ).

Innovation:
My heart goes with Nintendo.
Yes, they\'ve always brought something new to the market. Be it bad, be it good. Now the most hottest discussion is GC and the 1.5 gb Mini-dvd. They\'ve always made new and innovative games; heck, they even praise Nintendo for making the 3rd -dimension platform up.

Oh I know. When I first played it, I was in Yokosuka. :) It\'s just looking back at it now, that some design concepts were flawed. And while they don\'t bother me, I know it would have gotten to a ton of people, because it makes the game very repetitive. I\'m sure the minor flaws would be taken care of in the next one. I also can\'t wait for the rest of the Shenmue chapters, and I hope Suzuki continues with his project.

3 Best DC Games...

Shenmue

Phantasy Star Online

Resident Evil: CODE: Veronica/Marvel Vs Capcom 2

Sorry, couldn\'t decide between two of Capcom\'s best.

Living-In-Clip: You and I must be the only two people on this insane planet that disliked MGS.

Sorry for going off topic.

D. Joyda: I don\'t disagree that Square improves on graphics with every sequel but you gotta admit that Sega and Nintendo do it just as well, if not better.

Look at the leap between Virtua Fighter 1/2/3/4, the Sonic series, Mario series, Model 1/2/3/NAOMI, etc.

As for innovation, no doubt about it. I gotta give it to Sega. They do every genre and they do it well. Often times, they\'ve set the standard, created a benchmark, or just re-invented the wheel. I\'d have to say Namco owes much of their success to Sega. (Ingrates :P)
July 2002: If you had bought $1000.00 worth of Nortel stock one year ago, it would now be worth $49.00. Enron, $16.50 left. Worldcom, $5.00 left. If you had bought $1,000.00 worth of Budweiser beer one year ago, drank it all and turned in the cans for the 10 cent deposit, you would have $214.00. Based on the above, my current investment advice is to drink heavily and recycle.

I\'ve stated before that I am not a big fan of MGs. That\'s why I could care less about the nest coming to PS2. The VR missions were kinda fun, but even they got extra repetitive after a while.

A funny gesture.

I think the MGS series may be the single most over-rated videogame series ever, well, okay, not quite that bad. Pokecrap holds the award for that... But the MGS series is really close.... When Z.O.E comes out, I already promised my friend he could have the MGS2 demo, as he loved the game. I don\'t even want to see it...:D

yea but the leaps of VF 1-4 /sonic series/mario series/and the rest were all graphical leaps becuase of the fact that they were console leaps as well

of course the graphics of a vf on saturn aren\'t gonna be as good as one for dreamcast - its a gimmie so you really can\'t use that as an example

also square has pushed the systems they have been on to their limits in music and graphics - some of the things they did with the PSX - no other dev could do as well - even on the SNES their graphics were very good
This Sig is a Work in Progress.

Errrrrr.....

VF 1 & 2 were on Saturn, Sonic 1-3 on Genesis, Mario 1-3 on NES, Super Mario World & Yoshi\'s Story on SNES.....

That\'s a fair comparison.
