http://www.fgnonline.com/playstation2/news/17905.htmlPlayStation 2: David Ratcliffe, executive producer on Quake III Revolution tells FGN Online what new features we\'ll see in the PS2 version.
Based on id Software\'s PC shooter Quake III Arena, the PS2 version is expected to ship in early April. Due to the PC version being available for over a year now, a straight PS2 port wouldn\'t have offered fans of the game anything new.
Thankfully, EA has included a number of features from the recently released PC add-on, Team Arena. "There are many exclusive PS2 features," Ratcliffe explained. "The single-player campaign to start with, you can now choose one of five characters and build them up as you progress through, gaining more strength, amour-carrying capability etc.
"Players can then take their enhanced character and play against other people in multiplayer and we\'ve even given the player the ability to leave your single-player character as a bot on a friend\'s memory card.
"We have new characters in the game including the big bad baddy, Vadrigar (who you must defeat to win the single-player game), five new levels, new game modes including Possession in which you have to keep hold of the flag for a certain amount of time whilst the bots do their damned best to frag you, Team Arena levels, and some Team Arena weapons."
I don\'t know if anyone else is intrested but i decided to post this...I\'m getting this game the same day ZOE comes out....
