Thank you all!
« on: March 23, 2001, 07:19:14 PM »
Well, all of you have helped me very much in the last week without even knowing it and I just want to say thanks.

My future wife and I have been together sense we were 15. We are both now 23. She had never been outside of Wisconsin and allways felt caged in.
Well, last Monday she completely flipped out and left me and went to Florida with nothing but a goodbye. Leaving me and her mother completely in shock and horribly depressed. I didn\'t eat or sleep for 5 days.
I had to be checked into a hospital because I was fainting twice a day from lack of food and sleep. I felt like I was going to die because the woman I love with all my heart left me. Well, her mom just called her and then she called me and said that everything was o.k. and that she will be home on Sunday. Apparently she went to Spring Break with a couple of her freinds and did this to me because she had to see for herself what it would be like living without me.

For those of you that are deeply in love or married you can understand the hell I was in this week.

Being on these froums made me forget my problems and I just wanted to thank you all for helping me through the toughest week of my life.

You don\'t have to respond to this if you don\'t want to. Just know that you contributed to keeping me from going totally insane.

Thanks,
Luke
Helloski.

Yes you did help out, everyone did by just being here.
I know it sounds corny cause let\'s face it. In the grand scheme of things this is only a fun place to talk about video games, but this place really was my salvation for a couple days.
I really don\'t know how I would have gotten through it without being able to come here and read and post and just forget what was going on.

Geez Lucas. I mean, wow, I\'m at a loss for words. All that time you had been posting and we didn\'t even know anything was wrong.

I have to say that I agree with you saying that this place is your salvation. I feel exactly the same way. Its great to just come here and talk with you guys, and forget about all the troubles in the world.

We are not just a group of gamers, we are our own little family. I can\'t say that I would take a bullet for any of you, but I sure as hell would defend you in a fight. I honestly consider this my home away from home. Its a pity there isn\'t an actual meeting place, a real PSX2 Central. But with all of us so spread apart thats just impossible.

I hope that I was able to help you in your time of need. Most likely I just pushed you further and further into insanity. :p
Stanzo and no-one are right, it takes a real man to admit that kind of stuff.

Good luck with your future wife. And never leave us. :)

"We are a little family". That\'s exactly what I meant on the "Where\'s The one Billy Gunn" -thread ;)

You\'re too nice sometimes.

But I\'m happy to hear everything went ok in the end, Lucas, and that I had my share in helping you. This is a place where you forget everything that is work, even depression is forgot. I know this, as I\'ve forgot few exams due being too much here ;)

Anyways I\'m glad you had the guts to share this with us, Lucas, as I usually keep my personal things to myself. This might be a good place to express your sorrow feelings - I\'ve done it too, but it was quite different.

\"So are you going to kill her off?\"
Are you insane! I love her character, she stays.
\"The only thing loves done is put you in this position, I say kill her off!\"

Grr.....I have been away from my girlfriend for almost 5 weeks...well she is only 15, and thats kinda bad if you consider my age which is a healthy 19. I miss her everyday of the week, and i do plan on going to spring break for a whole week in 2002 to Cancun Mexico, and if i am still together with her its going to be hard on her and me, and with all of thos hot girls down there how in the hell will i not manage to keep my hands off of them...God i hate being away from her...but its all for good cause, and i know she will understand hell maybe i can talk her mom into letting her go with me:D

Anyways Sorry to hear about that Luke, and at least its on the GOOD side now:D
